Likes

I liked the fact that they provide full support in sports and extracurricular activities.
Faculty is really nice. They are all experience ans PhD holders. Also they are not strict.
College life is also good and seniors are supportive too they tells about many things and guide us for carrier opportunities .

Dislikes

There is a rule that we can't access the ground before 2 pm which i really dont like
The minimum attendance criteria is annoying.
The college library and canteen is small which I dont like

Course Curriculum Overview

As I'm in 1st year and all the subject in 1st year for every branch is same not much branch related so I can't say anything important about it. Our 1 semester had 6 subject with 4 units each in 1st year. We had 2 exams before end semester exams. Each exam covered 2 units and the question paper was made by university (GGSIPU) so it had decent difficulty.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 144000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't remember much about the structural distribution of total fee but our tution fee is 110000 and total fee is 144000 for the first year . There is one scholarship I know which is given to the EWS students. I'm in 1st year so haven't done any campus employment or internship but companies do come for placement.

Campus Life

The annual fest of our college is typically held in March, I don't remember the name of it but it's a 3 days event. There is no technical fest as far as I know but our different coding societies organization many hackathons and other college's student can also participate in them. Our library is small but it provides all the necessary books for studying . We have all the necessary facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms and labs. Our college have sports team of almost all sports, we have basketball, volleyball and badminton court and football ground too. We also have dance and other societies too.

Admission

The admission process was easy. It was done by online counseling of GGSIPU after which reporting was done for document verification and fee submission. GGSIPU takes the rank of JEE MAINS entrance exams for admission process . Application form can be found on GGSIPU's official website, form is out by March. I don't know about the reservation benefits.

Faculty

Faculty members are really nice. And all my professors far PhD holders and experienced too. I don't know about the faculty-to-student ratio but we hardly get any free class, if any of our assigned professor is not available for any reason there always another professor taking the class. Almost all of my professors are really good at teaching and very patiently explains the topic. Interacting with teachers is very easy we can go to they rooms , all the teachers are welcoming and approachable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

Walking you through ADGIPS

I applied to IPU counselling through JEE mains. I didn't have many options but I was getting HMR university, Echleon institute of technology, Guru teg Bahadur 4th centenary college, etc. I chose this college because among other IP colleges it has a better placement ratio and good environment and crowd. I wanted colleges like Maharaja agrasen institute of technology, maharaja surajmal institute of technology, bhartiya vidhyapeeth which comes on top of IPU rank list but due to my JEE rank was not able to get it but I'm still content with what I have. To get into my college u need to have a JEE rank around 4L for Tech branches and 6-7 L for other branches like Ece, Me etc. Admission experience was fine IPU delays the process alot but it was still manageable so overall fine...Read More

An okay choice if you want a GGSIPU govt. degree

I honestly didn't want to go to a private college , that was never my first choice even my last choice also but with my jee mains rank that was around one lakh ninety thousand I couldn't get any of the nits or some government college.The reason I chose this college because this college is affiliated to GGSIPU (guru gobind singh indraprastha university), so the degree is a government recognized one which can be valuable in the future.This was one of the main factor for me in the finalizing this college.
