Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum focuses more on knowing the subject deeply and how to apply it in the real world. We would get to know the theory as well as the practicality of the subject. Exams were conducted on monthly basis for evaluating the knowledge of students.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College has signed Mom with many companies which offer internship training opportunities for the students. There are paid as well as non paid internships. They will be able to observe the things and works that they have to do in real world industries.

Placement Experience

From semester 6 students having no arrears are eligible for college placements. MNCs like Amazon, Infosys, Ey etc approach the college and about 70% of the students are placed. The highest package goes upto 10 LPA and the average package is 3.2 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee was very reasonable for the facilities that they provide. The complete cost of my education was 4 lakhs. You will get scholarships based on your marks like post metrics, etc. And wide range of placement opportunities from MNCs.

Campus Life

The annual technical fest is held on August called Pratitya. The arts and cultural fest in March called Nakshatra and also Srishti which is project fest. Students from all around Kerala come to participate in this fests.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is awesome. Homely feel and good food. With daily non veg and veg options available. Also single, double and triple sharing rooms are available based on your preference. Good water and clean rooms.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of the course is scores above 70% in your 12th boards. There was an interview for hiring. They focused on the candidate interest to pursue the course and also were very interactive interview sessions.

Faculty

All the faculty members have a PhD and very good subject knowledge. They give both theory as well as good learning for us to face the real world scenarios and apply them wherever necessary. We can reach out to them for any support if needed.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

I choose btech cse cause it was the trending course at that time and I was computer science student in my high school so it was best for me to choose btech cse at that time. And I believe it cold be a great career choice

This college is not what it seems in the first look.

Likes

College was at a beautiful place. It was not a city but a beautiful place.
Hostel was great. I got many friends from there.
These are the only things that I can think of.

Dislikes

Teachers, they are horrible one one teacher named aparna was professional and ethical. My HOD was the worst.
Principal is the worst. She does not hear students side. She is money minded. I had a fee pending for not more than 2 week. When I went to her for signing my medical report she demanded that she will sign only after I paid that fee
The college does not encourage extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Likes

Decent infrastructure. hostel infrastructure is also clean and better than most colleges

Dislikes

Very poor campus life. No importance for cultural programmes and activities
Very poor and degrading environment for women. Faculties and other staff are very judgemental.
Very low packages for average students. Placement training is regularly being provided, but it is too hectic to be managed along with curriculum.

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for placements after sixth semester. Major companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, e.t.c are recruiters. about 5-10 students are recuited on average by these companies. highest package was offered by south indian bank in 2023 (10 LPA). average packges are around 2 to 3 LPA.

We have a very good faculty family that is not only supportive but also loving.

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester we are eligible for the placements. They provide placement training sessions in the college itself. Computer Science department has almost hundred percent placements. Also there is mtech in the college if you prefer higher studies.

TIST , Great college , fun events and more

Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Likes

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

After 6 th semester students become eligible for placements . It's in the final years . Many companies have visited the college and made offers for the students like Wipro,Tenzo tech , infopark etc Around 70 Percent students get placement

When it comes to the campus life, I enjoyed all the 4 years
The infrastructure was okayish Could've improved.
The faculty was really friendly and I was able to approach them without any hesitation.

Dislikes

The road from the junction to the college is not at all maintained. Students coming up the hill find it very difficult to reach college
The bus fees are increased every year. But these people can't find a way to provide seats for the students after paying their bus fee.
Some other campus offer many varieties of food in their canteen. This has to be done here too

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.

Remarks:

Yeah well, positive things are there. I got many friends. I got a degree. I learned much personal and professional knowledge. I also learned how to live independently for 4 years without parents alone somewhere.

College at first look, only started a new chapter in here...

I did a blunder as I did wanted to write IMU CET exam but due to a mistake I did forgot to inform the keam management regarding this and both exam coninsided in one day at different places one in Kerala and other in Bangalore. Saintgits college of engineering, Kottayam.

I first got admission in RIT, but as you know government colleges don't have uniform, i know it's exciting. But if we think for long term uniform is better than colour dress. More over we can wear colour twice a week.. which is enough. And some hostel issues were also there for admission in government college.
