Course Curriculum Overview

4

I am at sem 3 we had following 2019 scheme curriculum. Our juniors s1 they have new scheme 2024 scheme . They will get free period 2 hours a week. And they only have to learn only required subject according to taken subject from s1.

Internships Opportunities

2

There is no much interships. There are so many hackathons like tedx. There are so many students having skill but doesn't support them. The college didn't have interships schemes much. But placement training are superb

Placement Experience

3

Before covid our college had so many opportunities. Even amazon took students. But after covid much less placement. But in 2024 there is a lot of improvement. Infosys had came for placement they are recruiting about 60 placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

College is awesome some teachers are friendly. Teacher knowledge is pretty deacent. Students are very friendly. In CS Branch Head of the department is very kind and friendly. But the place is pretty average

Campus Life

2

The college is above average. The college has so many interesting clubs like nature club,NSS etc. We get a lot of camps in nature club to different places. College has pathetic condition in sports. Doesnot support in sports.

Hostel Facilities

3

There are a lots of PGs in Locality. Opting pgs are better for boys. For girls hostels are best. On starting time the food quality is superb. Then it gradually decrease the quality. In hostel on one room there are 3 or 4 on one normal room if you want we can opt single rooms.

Admission

The college is very near to my home. We can reach college very easily. Just 10km from kottayam town. I took admission by recommended by my cousin. And the main reson is the college have good event named naksatra.

Faculty

3

Faculty are like some are very friendly and some are very rude. The good part in exam is if we get supplementary we get one more chance to get the subject. Some time we can predict the question paper with the help of Faculty

Night Life

1

Campus is just good. Library is very good and ambitious. Cafeteria is not at all good.gym is average limited machines on gym. Hostel for boys we have two hostel one is good and one is average. For girls we have a good hostel inside the campus itself.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.
