This is an easy course if you are upto date. The job vacancies and opportunities are many. As a civil engineering student this course is of great importance in the future. The application of Civil engineering is unimaginable

Saintgits College of engineering, Kottayam is one of the best Educational institution in Kerala , As it provides many great opportunities for students to develop their skills , hobbies and to overcome their fear. The yearly fee is 1 Lakh( without scholarship), There is scholarship available to students who have showed their excellence in 12th Grade. The scholarship amount starts from 65% (score in12th) The scholarship amount varies according to the the 12th Result.

The best infrastructure available is here. Campus Life is of enjoyment and studying. Also it is important to get socially involved with many persons as you can . It is all about making friends, Great friends

This college is one of the best Autonomous Engineering Colleges in Kerala . It has a Great Campus the best faculty. A lot of Programs . The eligibility is KEAM examination or NRI quota . Admission process is simply to apply in their website and they will call you if you are eligible

Faculty

This College is Autonomous. But it works according to the KTU university. The marks and Gradings are all based on KTU grading system The exam pattern changes according to KTU that is once every 4 or 5 years. The faculty members are great with their experience

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

College at first look, only started a new chapter in here...

I did a blunder as I did wanted to write IMU CET exam but due to a mistake I did forgot to inform the keam management regarding this and both exam coninsided in one day at different places one in Kerala and other in Bangalore. I first got admission in RIT, but as you know government colleges don't have uniform, i know it's exciting. But if we think for long term uniform is better than colour dress. More over we can wear colour twice a week.. which is enough. And some hostel issues were also there for admission in government college.
