All about Chitkara University

The course curriculum is well-planned and well-conducted. The course is of an IIT level. Chitkara even has ties with IIT Ropar and IIT Roorkee. We can easily focus on curriculum and extra-curricular and still score good marks and gain skills.

There are various internships. Most of the companies visit by the end of 3rd year and students get placed. Most of the time these companies even give placements. There are 2 projects in your degree. One major project and one minor project.

Mostly every student is placed in Chitkara. 90% of the students are placed. If you are pursuing B.Tech, you will be eligible for the internship after the 3rd yr or maybe by the end of it most students get internships. A lot of companies visit such as NXP, Silicon Labs, etc.

The tuition fee 2 years ago was 85,000 per semester with 20,000 admission fees including security. This was for the first semester and afterward each semester you had to pay 85,000 only But now the tuition fee is increased to 1,20,000 per semester. Minority scholarships are provided.

Campus life is quite fun. Each department has its own clubs and societies in which you can participate on a daily basis and improve your skills and build connections. You get great exposure, confidence, and experience. Great arena for sports, you have a gym, yoga, Zumba, music, and dance. You name it and Chitkara has it.

Hostel facility is nice. You get laundry services, each day your washrooms and rooms are cleaned. Deep cleaning of rooms every 2 months. They have provided oven, kettle, refrigerator and induction. Meal is average.

For the admission you first have to fill the application form and then there is first come first serve basis. There are various orientation sessions where you get admission. Few seats are reserved for females and categories of reservation. There is a huge crowd in Chitkara like endless people. They should reduce their admission intake

Faculty is well qualified and intelligent and super helpful. They are PhD holders. The faculty and student interaction is conducted on regular basis. There are mentoring sessions, group mentoring as well as personal mentoring. Each faculty is easily accessible and always guide rightly.
