Civil engineering course is good in this university because they give you proper field knowledge and all practical things used in civil they teaches you and they also give opportunity of internship and various seminars also done.

Placement Experience

After 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement. So many companies come in college like L an t Gammon India,shapoorji ,many more. Average package is 5 lakh / year and maximum is 20 lakh /year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of University depends on course.and the college give scholarship on two basis.1) If you socre 8.5 cgpa in all semester than u have scholarship.and 2) on the basis of jee mains perecntile .

Campus Life

Campus life is full of enjoyable.many clubs runs in university,music club ,dance club,and the also run Nss scheme and there is vikalp also which provides education to lower student or local student free of cost

Hostel Facilities

Facilities provided in room is fan, almirah,table bed and shelf. Food quality is also good they give food 5 times in day . The hostel and mess fees is about 45000/year. Overall hostel and mess facilities is good .

Admission process is thorough jee mains counselling and direct admission is also there in the basis of class 12 percentage.The application forms are available on the site of University or from the counselling of jossa or csab

In case placement they tries give opportunities but didn't succeeded to much well. As 9.5 lpa is highest package by B.Tech CSE on campus but off-campus doing well as B.Tech CSE got 2 time 36 lpa as highest

Good things is that they offer minor courses for us where we can choose extra courses which we may find interesting and yaa not only that interdepartment projects can also be chosen which is very strange but don't seems relevant.curriculum earlier they were following of iit Delhi and new curriculum is not very exact and relevant because sometimes there are some unnecessary courses and no point of learning that course which forcefully imposed on us to take this course as it comes under institute department courses and are mandatory which is not so good

NIT srinagar : A place signifying Majesty of nature and a ground for academic growth

Placement Experience:

I think the students become eligible for placements after 6 th semester, if you are from CS / IT then you'll get enough opportunities for yourself... I know 8-9 seniors who have grabbed a pretty decent package from companies like Oracle If somehow you fail to get recruited on campus then i guess the off campus option is open for all I am pretty satisfied with the placement record atleast for IT The percentage placement for this year CSE was 51 considering recession part this seems good to me

First apply for jee mains exam and get a rank under 50000 and also minimum 75% marks in 12th exam and you have only three attempt to qualify jee mains exam if you clear the cutoff so you also eligible for jee advance exam for the admission in IIT

Review about Shri mata vaishni devi university

Remarks:

The university is situated in the Trikuta foothills and is 80 km away from the main Jammu city so one has to bear that because everything is not available sometimes. Electricity is 24×7 and the weather is awesome.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students.
