Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course due to some reasons like the laboratory works in this course which helps us to understand the real mechanism of the reaction which we only read in our books before . The understanding of Lab works can also help us in future for further studies and works .

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees of my course is quite high as compared to other distance learning courses and University also make us to pay for laboratory practical and exams which put more burden on us. If the fees of this course is under 10000 it will be more affordable.

Campus Life

2

My collage life is going well. There are many festivals held time to time. And Libraries are too good , with thousands of books available for students which really help us in our studies. Sports facilities are not good , any kind of sport activities are not seen in a while.

Admission

Eligibility criteria is simple, you must have completed your 10+2 (12th) secondary education to apply for this course. You can find application form on IGNOU official website. There is no entrance exam for this course.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty to student ratio is good and teachers are also very good, but sometimes there are lack of interest in teachers to teach distance learning students. Which is not good for students it make me feel low about my studies.

We have an active placement cell in the college. Students are eligible for placement in 6th Semester. there are quite a lot of companies that offer jobs and we do get a decent average package. I plan on pursuing master's degree after this.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i believe CS hons is a decent course. The curriculum is however, very outdated. We are being taught several topics that have no relevance these days and they arent even taught properly. I believe a far better choice would be doing BTech instead since it has a better course and companies prefer that over BSc CS. In terms of preparing for the real world, i believe this course has no use since the most important parts we have to learn it ourselves. Exams are conducted once at the end of every semester (including practical and theory). However during the semesters, there are multiple tests taken to asses our knowledge regularly

My want to become more professional and become capable to buy anything of my interest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because statistics is a rising field and is used everywhere . Also l had a good command on Statistics and maths in 12th standard. I believe that this course is really very relevant for today's world but could be made a bit more practical to be applied in real world situations.

I my opinion they must add the logical and critical part more than the traditional proving part in all core subjects . Its more like we are becoming a bookworm rather than to train our minds logically.

I believe that my course has relevance in the upcoming generation. Statistics is a department where a person could flourish and learn a lot and at the same time applying it in their own life. There could be more connections with real examples and professors could take example and also enhance our knowledge. My course is a rigourous course which needs proper studies as well
