An overview of SRMCEM

The college is good in all aspects but the mess system is only satisfactiry.

I heard alot about this college with my fellow students and some other seniors from school. This college is best for study. Classes are conducts on the regular basis which attracts me the most. So I opted this college as my first choice during counseling.

The course curriculum is easy as per the syllabus of AKTU. In recent years, it became more easier for the new students. The course of entire B.tech is not very overwhelming. One can easily study the subjects. If the students studied the topic before the exam, he can surely manage to get good marks.

The college provide a minor internship for everyone in the forms of workshops and other technical events.

The placement rate of our college is very high in the past two or three years. Many of the students are placed in the different companies by campus as well as poll campus placement. So placement rate is higher than other colleges in Lucknow. There is a separate placement cell here whose job is to call companies for selection of students

At the begining of the year, there is a Freshers party throwing by the college for freshers. The party is organised by mostly second years and a little help from the third years. After that The technical fest of college GANTAVYA takes place which a three days festival. Abhivyakti the cultural fest is also happen here

The fee structure in SRMCEM is feasable. The annual fee is One lakh four thousand five hundred rupees for second third and fourth years. The fee of first year is slightly greater than others because their is development fee and security money is also added

The loan facility is not availed by our college but banks loans are accepted here. The bank finance is acceptable

The campus life of SRMCEM is good. There is fun, there is study. At the time of fun, you have fun and at the time of study you must study. There is a canteen there in which one can have some fast foods and others cold drinks. The library is also present for students.

The hostel facility is SRMCEM is good. There are separate hostels for first years and other seniors. The food quality of hostel is moderate. The hostelers may seems to like the food. The hostel menu is dependent on the students. They decide the menu.

The seniors are quite helpful for juniors. They helps the juniors. For helping the juniors college form a team of SG.

The exam structure is very difficult in our college. There is a three quiz cycle in the every semester through witch the internal marks are obtained. There is no other way but study for gaining good internal marks. They take is very seriously and quizes are in the culture of college

First the Test conducted by AKTU. After the result announced by AKTU, I did my counseling from counseling center. Then I select college of my choice. After allocation of college I came here with my previous results and other required documents and have seeted in admission cell. They helped me to fill up the admission form and after payment of few, my admission process was completed.

The faculty are also good. They attracts with students so they understand the difficulty of students. Many students have problem in English, so here the faculties tries to eliminate the language problem. The faculties from different departments are come to teach the optional subjects.
