Course Curriculum Overview

The course which I have taken is mechanical engineering and apart from that our college is tie up with many institute which offers specialization course which will add on in our overall experience and skill which helps to build resume. Apart from courses my College have no. of clubs and professional body which also help to brush up on our skill.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for our college is something around 1.60K/yr, however Thakur college offers scholarship like ebc and many more. For the students who got admission from government quota can get benefits of ebc, and who failed to grab those scholarship for them there are other scholarship. Students with strong academic performance gets those benefits.

Campus Life

As per my point of view I'm not in any clubs or professional body,it's my personal choice. Students who want to enjoy college life should definitely join the clubs or groups these will definitely give them high wings. As for the academic concern just get your assignments and all on time and give more focus on brushing up your skill and experience rather than wasting your time only on academic. Keep in mind academic will give you only score on the piece of paper , at end it's your skill and experience which will help you to get your dream package.

Admission

Eligibility of courses varies from branch to branch. For in Thakur College of Engineering and Technology there is a high cutoff for branches like Computer Science, IT, AIML, AIDS, and IOT and a low cutoff for branches like mechanical engineering, civil, entc engineering.

Faculty

Most of professors are PhD holder with experiences. If we talk about mechanical facilities so in our branch many professors are mastered in thermal engineering, robotics, material science and metallurgy.

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

i got in this college through mht cet and i wanted to go into tcet as it was near to my house and one of the main reason is placement. TCET has a very strong industry connection as well as political too. To get into TCET you have to give the MHT-CET exams and secure almost 95%ile score for tech branches for non linguistic minority.
