Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus was so relevant that we were only taught which was required in the IT industry. We were given theoritical knowledge for only 1.5 yrs and the rest we spent in industry as in internships and final year projects.

Internships Opportunities

4

I was allowed to pursue my internship at Bangalore. The college had provided us many internship opportunities which was mandatory during 5th semester of our graduation. We also had to work on final year projects in industry

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement opportunites are good as many of the students from my own batch have got placed with min package of 2 lpa. Big companies such as tcs are planned for placements in our college. We can also opt for MCA or MBA after course.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Back when I took admission it was around 30k per year. But it has now changed to 65k per year. They also provide internships and placements opportunites. I also got placed in TCS recently during my graduation period.

Campus Life

4.5

We yearly have insight called event in our college where we enjoy the most. Other than that there are many both technical and non technical events are organized in the college. The infrastructure is top class.

Admission

They do not have any entrance exam, but they conduct their own test for aptitude and general knowledge I guess. My admission was done on the basis of 10th and 12th percentages in the pallotti college .

Faculty

4.5

The faculty members for my particular course were excellent. They were well educated and provided guidance whenever it was needed. They also had a familiar touch which helped us open up with them with our problems and issues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've had the opportunity to study in the Media and Communication department at our college, and I must say that the curriculum is well-designed and executed. The focus on practical-based learning allows us to gain hands-on experience, which is incredibly valuable. However, with so many options and courses, it can be overwhelming at times.

Admission:

I assumed that you must have read the degree name properly, It is new of its kind, as a student I used to know only about vocational training programs including ITI and plain degree courses such as B.Sc, B.com, etc but the real fact is they lack industry and practical orientedness. I appeared for JEE and followed that herd mentality, managed to crack Mains but lost the Advanced cutoff by 10 marks, luckily I managed to get into Government Engineering College Amravati (my hometown) in electrical engineering and I am all set for the next 4 years, and then comes Turning Point, I came to know about this course - B.Voc in BFSI the very next day after my all-India allotment is done. You guessed it right I have chosen the latter because). Students need not necessarily complete 3 three-year courses to avail degree, rather TISS-SVE (TISS School of Vocational Education) avails a diploma ( at the end of successful completion of the first year, an Advanced Diploma at the end of the second year, and a degree at the end of the third year). I wanted to do all except engineering, Many of my family members are engineers and hence I wanted to be in the finance domain. The course provides an internship for practical learning which helps to learn real-world problems better. I chose CIBMRD College because it is the one that provides this course
