Remarks

Well this course is quite intresting for each and everyone who is intrested in making their career in Hotels and Travel Industry as this provide a big exposure to Hotels with quite less fees and working for 3 years with studying theory as well is the best part and students get clearity about each and everything

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Talking about course curriculum its very good and the information provided in book is accurate and exams are really good and help us to grow in this feild. Curriculum provides us a great knowledge of each procedure and process of everything that helps us to understand the hotel well and yes its good for securing on campus placements. There were industrial visits as we were asked to work in Taj Palace, New Delhi than Vivanta by Dwarka and Taj Mahal, New Delhi

Placement Experience

5

Well talking about placement as we are working with Taj Group of hotels so they have a contract that Taj will take 70% of the students after graduation on good Posts. Institue also take several steps by sending us for On the Job trainings and provide scholorships

College Events

4

Every Festival is celebrated and students take part with enthusiasm sometimes we are also working on festivals like new years and christmas diwali and making the guest smile from the great hospitality. So its fun working in hotel and making someone else smile

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is 44000 for year and the stipend we get from IHCL every month is 8000 There are no additional charges or even the examination fees we just have to pay 11,000 rupees quaterly to TISS. Yes the college provide transperancy in the fee breakdown and the amount we get as a stipend allows us to pay our tuition fees as well without taking the help from the parents that makes us self stand and independent

Fees and Financial Aid

I have opted for scholarship i have given 3 interviews for this and than got selected for this amazing programme

Campus Life

4.5

Gender ratio is approx 4 girls and 6 boys in one hotel. Well talking about extracurricular we have some OJTs in different hotel that give us oppurtunity to learn about other hotel as well Talking about sprorts we have tournaments in hotels like badminton round cricket match etc

Hostel Facilities

5

No as i am local i dont need a hostel or PG but some of my friends are staying in PG with a nominal price of 7000-8000 and if you are staying on sharing basis than it is 4000 rupees per month and that is quite low

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful as they share their experience and knowledge about every department and their placements rounds everything

Admission

I opted for this course because i wanted to make my career in Front Office. Well this is a colaborated course with IHCL and we are interning in Taj Hotel and getting stipend and with theory class. Talking about Admission process it was easy and challenging both as we were asked to give Personal interviews to HR and also group discussion rounds were their and after that some students got selected

Faculty

5

Number of lectures are enough for understanding thing. Average age for getting in this course is 17 years. Teachers are really good they have different activities for students so that they can take a feel of hotel and how they really work. It is a really good thing to learn from amazing faculty

Course Curriculum Overview:

In past i have given competitive exam so at that time i was very fustrated so i decide to change my stream so therefore i choose to become an interior designer Because my father have business in the same feild so i thought to extend my father business. This feild teach us how to communicate with the people in the market and conveinced them for your design. And we do have many site visite and market survey for that.this is how this feild prepares us for real -world . This feild is very underrated Because parents think ki our child should be doctor or engineer only.as many people not consider design as an art . the duration of the exam is 15-20days . the paper are easy -moderate level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum was great and equipped with knowledge and skills needed . It helped me for my masters in uk as well . But I feel more practical implementation of that knowledge was lacking. Exams where to easy to crack . More emphasis on Pratical part should be given . Exams should be more real problem solving oriented questions to check the knowledge of student on food safety problems in food industry.
