Course Curriculum Overview

4

Since the NEP has been applied from our session, students have to study more extra subjects besides the core and elective subjects. These additional subjects are for the students benefit and educational purpose. But a negative aspect to this act is that the students have to pay more study hours because of the assignment, tests and lectures of these subjects. Besides these the syllabus of the core subjects are overall good. Students have to study three core subjects, one elective, sec, vac and aec. The syllabus is well structured. As for my course, bsc physical science with chemistry, the second yr is tougher than first year. The first year core syllabus was for the most part from 11th and 12th syllabus. But the Mathematics portion had new interesting topics .

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The placement cell collaborate with a lot of companies. These companies provide internship and placements for both first to third year students. Some of the Collaborative companies are zomato, just dial, college dekho, geekster, paisa baizar, bajaj capital, etc. The internships for the first year students are nothing major but simple tasks.

Placement Experience

3

The placements are average around 2.5-3 LPA. Placement cell of the colleges organize placement and internship fair where first year students can get internships. A lot of companies are evented to such fairs. Interview is done in person for both internship and placement. A cgpa of above 9 is a must for an above average placement. The college doesn't provide 100% college placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the most courses is fairly low. The fees are paid annually. Mostly in the range 16000-20000. The annual fees for bsc physical science with chemistry was around 16,700. The fees for bsc computer science is more than other subjects. The scholarships for obc, sc and st are provided, so those who need this facility can avail by filling the required application and submitting required documents. Other than the annual course fee which needs to be paid each year for the time you study, there's exam fees which has to be said semester wise. The exam fees goes around 1600. Other than this no other compulsory service charges are charged.

Campus Life

4

The college life is fairly good with various clubs and socities to join in. Their are a number of socities such as music, dance, art, fashion, hindi/english debate, ncc/nss, dramatic society and other departmental societies. The socities are pretty good and partake in a lot of events and competitions outside college. Each college conducts their annual fest. The library of the colleges are good with air conditioners provided and a variety of books provided for students to read from and issue from the library for 2 weeks. Apart from this most of the colleges don't have working projectors. The gadgets are not new and up to date.

Admission

The admission to delhi university is done through the CUET exam for both ug and pg courses. Students have to be updated for the registration, application form filling, fee submission and exam date. They should follow insta handles for necessary information about cuet examination. They can watch youtube videos which instruct students and guide them. Many universities accept admission through cuet. They need to choose delhi university during cuet registration in samarth portal. After cuet examination and result, the students have to go to the delhi university portal and from there they need to login using their samarth application number and form a list of combination of courses and the colleges in their desired order. This list should be made carefully and after ensuring their desired course and college. The course and college is allocated in three rounds. In the first round if you get your desired course and college and don't wish to change it you can freeze the option.

Faculty

3

The faculty members are sufficient but the lectures are not regular. Especially since physical science is somewhat considered an underrated course, the teachers don't pay the same amount of attention as they do for the hons students. The faculty is not as active. The students need to put efforts from their own in order to bond with the teachers. Most of the teachers are Neglectful to the student's need.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
