Likes
- the one thing most good about the college is that there is no such attendance of pressure and you are overall tension free with the whole 75 percent criteria . Only appearing in one or two classes is enough but it is niot the same for maims
- The other thing that i like is that the marking scheme . which is like 40 marks in internal and 60 in external so it is overall easy to score a good cgpa
- Supportive teachers . The teachers here are supportive and They are not that much strict and gives marks easily .
Dislikes
- Although the college organizises events but the sports facility is not that great .
- The campus is small But still better than most of the ipu colleges
Course Curriculum Overview
Well I am currently in btech cse and i wanted to go for this course as it includes the basic things and the advanced courses . like from basic math to dsa everything . But the curriculum should be update like in first year most of the collleges now do not teach subject like physics , math and chemistry but it teaches but it is just because that it is affiliated . in first year we have basic 11th and 12 class subjects but after that we have actual subjects that can help in real life
Fees and Financial Aid
So for my academic year which is 2023-27 the tution fees is approximately 153000 per year . and in first year it is 193000 . This is the only amount you have to pay in college the college fees depends on the ipu university . The college can not increase fees on its own . Although the hostel is a bit expensive as the two seater ac room cost about 2lakh per year . expect hostel the fees is reasonable . The college provides with kotas to reduce fees which are update on the site of college itself
Campus Life
The college have an annual fest named techsurge and mridang which is held around in march . This year we hosted raftar as our special guest . According to campus the fest was great there more than 40 events . There are clubs and societies for almost everything in college whether it is singing dancing photography or coding you can find it there and the crowd is fine in these societies you will find your jam . The library is well occupied with almost every book and is a quiet place . The social life in the college is great . You can have your way around in the college . The campus life is more good if u are in the hostel .
Admission
My criteria for the selection was my jee rank which was around 43k and i got cse 2nd shift in the spot round and i am outisde delhi . The delhi quota helps a lot as the cse 2 cutoff for delhi quota was around 55k . The application form to apply for the college is found on the ipu official site where u have to pay the registration fees and then a choice filling fees . There are three counselling rounds and after that two spots round . The policy of the spot rounds should be checked every year as it updates . After accepting a seat you have to pay a security amount of around 60k which will be adjusted in your college fees .
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is great . There is always teachers available for help . And we can ask any teacher for help . Most of the teachers are phd holders so have a great knowledge . And also they are of friendly nature . Also the colleghe provides with a mentor system which is benificial .
