Likes
- The college campus is very good and it is very lively the environment is very nice there is Nescafe stall amd mother dairy shop in the campus the area of campus is also very big and in evening the college campus become so good and nice with cold wind
- There isa college canteen where you can eat.
- The best part of the college is the extra curricula activities there are so many societies in which you can take part and show your talent you can perform in anual cultural fests and in many more places i personally in music society and i love it
Dislikes
- The college canteen food is not so good and personally i feel it unhygienic
- There is no auditorium in the college. They are building one in the cllege but its work is shut down for years and there is no seperate rooms for cultural societies of the college all societies. Classes become very hot as there are no curtains.
- My personal experience with faculties is not so good and the faculty of program courses do not take program student seriously and there is so much delay in the office work.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is bsc physical science with chemistry and curriculum of the course is fine I have opted it because of physics and maths. The syllabus is divided nicely through semesters. But the extra subjects of sec (skill enhancement course) and vac (value additional course) are very burdensome on the students and they do not increase the knowledge anyways.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are scholarships for economically weaker students and they give them. There are also scholarship for the topers in the semester exams. They offer around 1000 rupees if you get 9 plus cgpa. The fee of the college is very less compare to other private colleges. There is a placement cell in the college and they offers some jobs.
Campus Life
The campus life is very good there are a lot of things you can do other than study join some societies have you talent speak for you. There are so many sports in the college and you get in college teams by giving trials. The library is air conditioned and is very good in infrastructure there are abundant of books in the library. There is a annual cultural fest host by Tarangini the cultural society of the college and it is phenomenal they invite many big singers and dj's for the performance.
Admission
I gave the cuet exam for the admission and cut off for humanities student is very high in the college and for the science students it is comparatively low. The admission process goes very smoothly there are 3 rounds of cut and 2 spot rounds and then there are also late admission entries if there are seats left.
Faculty
The faculty is very much qualified in there own fields but if you are in program courses they do not give so much attention to the students. The labs are not so good and they do not teach the experiment in a nice way. The student and faculty ratio is also very high as in my course there are 72 student and the teacher is one for a lecture. The interaction with teachers are sometimes nice and fine they help but some teachers are very bad with students they talk rudely with students and if you argue with them they will say go submit a application against me. But some teachers are very nice and very good in teaching they understand your feeling and they tought everything very nicely.
Other Applied Colleges
University of Petroleum and Energy Studies - [UPES] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Physics)
The university is very good, and the facilities given are phenomenal. I didn't opt this college because of fee, it is very high compare to my present college fee
