This was the only college left for me with a sufficient number of seats. under Calicut university there are only 4 colleges taking biotechnology I went to 2 of the colleges and these colleges were filled with seats and the 3rd one was so far from my native so my only destination was safe college

My course is directly linked with biology and ecology as the definition of biotechnology is a branch of applied science for making stuff using living microbes/ bacteria for the welfare of human beings. the mains subjects are-cell biology, chemistry, environmental biology, language, and English

As I am a first yr student I don't know whether there is an internship or not Anyway I guess there is no internship at my college

As I am a first yr student in the college I don't know much about that, I think there is a campus selection going on in the campus but I don't know the companies are MNC or not, but anyway there must be placements for the students who have passed out their courses and also the course gives them opportunities

The college has a management fest in which all the other colleges in Kerala comes. this management fest is hosted by our colleagesias(safi.institute of advancement study). it is a very mass program filled with many students across the state only students with commerce background can participate in that program(i guess)

The fee structure is feasible. The college does not take any donation, I pay 19,500 as my semester fees and that is not a big fee after all. All other departments also have fees which are feasible. and a 2000 rs is paid as a union fund which is for the programmes in the college Than hostellers can have hostel fee as 5300, Bus needers can have bus transport

There is a special loan for the girls in the Muslim Mappila community which avails many offers for the girls

I didn't find much of the campus life in my college. The gender ratio is 2:3, We have students around 1500 from undergraduate to postgraduate. The college has got many extracurricular activities from drama club, music club, leadership academy, sports, NSS, Etc....Labs are the best compared to other colleges. Sports is also. ok we have got coaches and grounds here The football ground is small No debates in my mind Everything is ok

As I have heard from my friends who reside at the college they have said me that the food is not that good, but it is okay but since the students are paying 5300 they should get better food. There are many rooms and each room consists of 4 people sharing the seats in the hostel are sufficient for the students both boys and girls hostel

There are alumni for each and every batch. No network with the senior students. They are not helpful

Exams are conducted by the University of Calicut till now I haven't written any public university exam but I have written some internal exams. these exams were written in halls and were under the surveillance of 2 teaching staffs, the exams are quite fine

1st of all I gave application form with my marks, the marks were sufficient to get BSc biotechnology after few weeks they called and said that I am selected to their college and gave me date yo come there and do another admission procedures as I went there I paid fees and had a council with my parents

The faculty of college is fine. The teachers working there are highly qualified as we can see most of the faculty with a Ph.D. which gives them a doctorate, they are also kind and respect teaching not as a career but as a social service instead, they are also lovable and motivative.
