Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very good. We can become a good doctor. Although the syllabus is tough, we can easily pass the exams. Frequently exams will conduct lke term exam, periodic assessment etc. And there will be 3 main university exams will conduct.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 64500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a government college, the fee is very less. Annual fee of 13,500/- should be paid by a student. And a hostel rent of 225/- per month. The college provides so many scholarship schemes coming under government. After completing 4 years we can enter house surgeon with a good stipend

Campus Life

The college provide so many festivals and celebrations. The biggest program is the graduation ceremony which is held every year. The college has a good library with lots of books. A good football ground, badminton court, volleyball court etc are there.

Hostel Facilities

The college provide good hostels for girls and boys. It provided a descent food. The rooms are occupied 2 persons. The mess fee will come around 3000 and hostel rent of amount 225 per month. The menu will change occasionally.

Admission

The admission is based on the entrance exam naming NEET exam which we need to qualify with good marks. NEET exam is very tough and one of the most difficult entrance exam in india. There are many reservations for many students who are eligible.

The teachers are highly talented, experienced and well educated. They provide good mentorship for the students. They teach us in a very good method. Often help us in difficult topics. They are very friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ayurveda is also very important part of medical field. It brings a lot of treatment aspects and life style betterment. There are practical significance of all the knowledge into life. Hospitals here is very much well equipped and doctors are skillful so it's very good platform for learning to treat the disease and at the same time learning for prevention of disease. Some of the portions should be re evaluate. They should not make shloka compulsory and eliminate some old theories which are not going to accept. Should combined with modern medicine and teach a hybrid model or Intregate course.

A bad college with good faculties

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course seems very intresting even though it gives some mental stress. In my opinion syllabus should be a little more oriented And exclude the importance of slogas since it is an unnecessary things to by heart

Complete Review of BAMS Course in Mannan Ayurveda college,Pandalam by a former student of 2019 batch

Course Curriculum Overview:

The latest course curriculum is good as they provide 20 MCQ in every 100 mark paper,so it had become much easy for students to pass the exam. The sloka is mandatory in exams which is a drawback that finds too much time consumption to students and the Sanskrit language is also very difficult. Each exams have 3hrs which is sufficient as only 80 marks questions need to be written reaming 20 marks are MCQ

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Chose this Course as it is Emerging more Effective in the past Few Years and I believe I could contribute more in this field. Moreover I was Interested in the Ancient Cultural form and the uniqueness of the Science of Ayurvedic Medicines and Treatment Methods. There are 14 Departments in the College including Both Clinical and Non Clinical aspects. Each Department Has about 6-7 Faculties Incuding HOD, Assistant and Associate Professors.At Present there are 5 batches of Students in the Undergraduate Course Excluding the House Surgeons. So about 360 Stuents total.There are about 200 Students in Various Post Graduate Course. The Faculties are appointed through Government Exams and Interviews and are Eligible after the BAMS degree and PG Qualification in respected departments with Experience of teaching. The method of teaching is very Systematic with periodic assessments. As per new NCISM rule term Exams are once in each 18 months and Can be passed through Systemic studying and activity.

Remarks:

I got admission in this college through entrance examination CEE conducted by Kerala government. After that merit list is prepared. To be eligible for this one should at least 50% in biology and 50% in all three, Physics, chemistry and biology together. And must have completed 17 years of age.
