Admissions at Vishnu Ayurveda College are offered on the basis of both entrance examinations and marks obtained in the previous examination.
For BAMS, admissions are based on a valid score obtained in NEET or KEAM entrance examinations. Whereas, for Certificate courses, admissions are based on merit.

Following are the facilities offered by the institute to cater to the need of the students and the faculty members:
- Hostel: The college has separate girls and boys hostel on campus. The hostel is spacious and beautifully built. The ladies hostel can accommodate 300 students and boys hostel can accommodate 60 students. The hostel is cleaned every day and has facilities like Bathrooms, rooms, water supply, a mess. The hostel is supervised by the security personnel at all times. Both the hostels have 1 warden each who is responsible for the proper functioning of the hostel. The hostel rent is 15000/- per year which is to be paid in advance along with a 1-time deposit of Rs 5000/-.
- Sports & Games: It has a playground for students. Many sports events are organized every month for students. Games such as Chess, Table Tennis, Cricket, Basketball, and Football are played by the students in between classes
- Seminars and Workshops: Many workshops and seminars are organized by the college every month. All special days like World Environment Day, World Health Day, Yoga Day, International Women’s day, and many more are celebrated on campus.
- Central Library: The college has a spacious library for the students and staff. Each department has its own library which has Textbooks, Reference books, Journals, and magazines of that specific subject. The library has a total of 11108 books about Ayurveda and Sciences and 32 journals. The library is equipped with wifi facilities so that students can take help while doing their work. It has a seating capacity of 160 seats.
- Hospital Block: Since the college was merged with the land of Vishnu Pharmaceuticals and Nursing Home, the campus also has a hospital. The hospital has 50 beds and are very helpful for the citizens who live near the college to get affordable treatment.
- Lift: Lift is available in the Hospital building and College building
- Canteen: The college also has a canteen which serves fresh and hygienic food
