Remarks

The college aims to be the best, they are very particular about the attendance which is for our own good.

Entrance Preview

It's because this college has the best lab facilities, the teachers are experienced and the infrastructure is good. The students in the college are from all over the country. Helping us in improving our social contact with others. This college offers a wide range of improvement in the research field

Course Curriculum Overview

5

My course is CZBt Biotechnology (Bt): The biotechnology department is the among the newest ones and the teachers there are very much into research and stuff and their teaching methods are worthy of appreciation. Chemistry (C): The chemistry department is one of the oldest departments of the college The teachers are well versed in the Lore of chemistry. Zoology (Z): This is the oldest department of the college, where the HOD is the best person you can meet, the way of covering such a vast content is the best.

Internships Opportunities

The college does provide internship for the needy. Companies such has PWC have come to interview students from commerce field. And the Bannerghatta National park was looking for enthusiastic form the science department. The chemistry department had conducted research and students were invited to join.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement is good enough last year companies such as Pokemon go and HQ trivia had taken students. The college is good in providing placements as we have heard from the alumni. As I am a first-year student I have no much idea about the packages provided by the companies.

College Events

5

We had 3 events this year so far, prathiba was the interclass fest, we had freshers day, we had ethnic day and the main fest of the year 'Visages' where the DJ was good and the facilities for the entrance and everything was good enough the student council had put in a lot of efforts. what

Fee Structure And Facilities

If it's an aided course like Chemistry, botany or zoology the fee structure is ?24,800 for a year and for the non aided course like microbiology and biotechnology the fee is ?64,800 for a year which is a little high but worth the money as the course is having a broad spectrum in the field of research.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship offer is for only a few students who have got good marks in the tests and examinations. There is no loan facility available

Campus Life

5

The campus life is good there crowd here is decent, the gender ratio is quite even, all of them respect each other, other departments held fests for other classes and also we also participate in the competitions of other colleges. There is a harassment cell to help the ones who are in trouble and also the councilors to help the needy

Hostel Facilities

5

Their college offers only a boys hostel and there food is decent. There is a PG for ladies very much near to the college, the food provided there is also decent and the security features are good enough to keep them safe also there is free WiFi in both Hostel and PG.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors have played an important role in making our journey smooth as they have informed us about the behavior of the teachers and advised to reciprocate accordingly.

Exam Structure

Labs are as of how they have to be conducted we have 3 labs per week depending on the timetable, lab days are long but not tiresome as the labs keep us occupied and the lab is fun. Exams are conducted twice per semester one mid-semester and one end semester, teachers might give us unit tests with prior notice.

Admission

This college was recommended to me by my friends who have passed from here. The admission process is quite simple it's a walk in the interview if you have scored 85+% in your 12th boards for others is by the merit list. In my case, it was merit list based after you pass through 2 interviews you are eligible for admission and you need to pay the fee

Faculty

5

The faculty of the college is hard working. The teachers are experienced, Most of them have finished their doctorates and are helping us to learn, our literature teachers include well-known poets, writers, and bloggers. The subject teachers put in all the effort to make us understand a particular topic they won't mind to explain twice or thrice that too in depth.

Placement Experience:

At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Reputed companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have visited the campus offering multiple roles in IT services, research and analytics. The highest package has been around 7-8 LPA while the average has been around 3-4 LPA depending on the company and the profile of the student. Around 60-70% of eligible students secure placement each year

Reviewed on Jul 4, 2025(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

Placement Experience:

First of all, there isn't a passed out batch yet(as of 2025). The first batch enrolled in 2023 and they are currently in internship period as they've planned. Placement will be offered at the end of 4th year. Although for internships, around 50+ companies visited and 96% of students got internships. The average stipend was 30,000 INR and the highest stipend was 200,000 INR (non-domestic). My plans after getting the degree are to gain some experience and go for a masters in business if possible.
