Course Curriculum Overview

I am studying IT in Gec Palakkkad. I had very good experience in this department. Very friendly faculty . Teachers have fun teaching so it is easy to enjoy. But they are strict when it comes to marks and academics.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is stable as it is a government institution. There is special section in the office for any type of enquiry. You can ask any of your doubts there. There are many types of scholarships like MCM, central sector, egratz etc.

Campus Life

Campus life is amazing. College is open till late night. Many clubs activities are present as well as sports team. IEEE, robotics club, NSS are some examples. Most of the mainstream sports team are present

Admission

My rank in Keam exam was 11k.many Reservations are available like sports reservation, and other minority reservations etc. There are two series exams to determine internal marks and an internal lab exam before main exams each sem. Students help new comers with the admission processes

Faculty

Very well educated and kind faculty. Friendly towards students. Very supportive for both academic and extra curricular activities. Have a good physical education department as well. Faculties encourage students to be better everyday

An honest college review

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. The top recruiters in it sectors are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Tata Elxsi, Accenture, Oracle, Amazon, Wipro, UST GLOBAL, IBM. The top recruiters in other sectors are Mu Sigma, Ernst and young,, federal Bank, h and r block. Most of the placement are in it and related sectors. The average package is 4 to 6 lpa.The highest package is 34 lpa in Amazon. In 2024, 35 percent of students got placed. I will look to get campus placement in a reasonable package or I will try to get jobs by other means.

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

They provide placement packages from a minmum of 4lpa to 12 lpa.. But most of the students got 4 lpa packages, it is very difficult to crack higger packages, but most of the cs students got placement andd students of other departments palcement is not good.
