Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course overall if we see, it is okay. I won't describe it as the best course to get but if you're not getting what you wish to, then it is obviously worth trying. You might face a lot of regrets at certain point after choosing this particular course but it will be all good at the last

Internships Opportunities

3.5

All the internship opportunities are available in the final year when companies come and hire the students Each student is assigned a project for their final presentation before the recruiters based on their preferences. The average stipend offered by the companies is 15000 per month which generally lasts till 3-6 months based on their performances

Placement Experience

3.5

For placement and internship, college officially allows after 3rd year This year recession was at the peak so we experienced a downfall in the placement ratio, but last year was a great year, we got hoghest of 47lpa secured by a girl from amazon off campus I am also looking forward to sit in the interviews and hoping to get a descent package with my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

As from my personal experience, i was a gen-ews candidate, so my fee structure was something like this- College fees- vary between (24000- 30000), Hostel fees- (32000-40000). Hostel fees is same for all the categories of students but tuition fees varies as mentioned and is least for SC/ST people.

Campus Life

2.5

After I joined, i experienced only freshers and an intra NIT tournament and both other festivals or events were conducted from college authorities but due to the riots and fights that was going on here from past 8 months Currently everything is at peace but still we are not allowed to do any functions. We have a coding club where seniors guide us with the roadmap of how to improve your skills and what all do we need to do in order to get a good package.

Hostel Facilities

4

Room with a bed, table, chair and fan is provided Rooms size is good Meal quality and quantity both is not up to th mark, you'll face a lot of issues in food specially if you are pure veg, as here mostly things are non veg and very less scope for the vegetarians. Registration for hostel was also very smoothly done was done easily For pg the locality I won't suggest, I'll suggest to go with the hostel facilities as you are ensured security which is important.

Admission

The cut off for non locals was good, but was way easy for the locals. As a non local, i secured 93 percentile in jee and then got cse, but some of my fellow local batchmates were in sane branch with a mere 50 percentile. The registration process and all was done smoothly, no major issues were faced. Only problem was there were no arrangements done for the parents coming this far to drop their child. Everything needed to be done by ourself.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is helpful in terms of guiding for their particular subject They are very cool and relaxed and does not put unnecessary pressure on students which helps to have independent study time All the teachers and staff members including lab teachers and assistants try to provide the best type of knowledge possible by them and does not lack anywhere.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average and mostly theory-based. Core CS subjects are covered, but practical learning, updated content, and flexible electives are limited, so we students must rely on self-study. And the exams are also monthly so you have to work on your own to study.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The good side is the academics: CSE covers programming, operating systems, algorithms, AI, NLP, databases and related math, with regular curriculum updates in consultation with industry. ECE (including VLSI & Embedded Systems) includes communication systems, control, image processing, CMOS design, IoT, ML and AI, with strong emphasis on labs and projects. Recent placement data shows an overall placement rate around 80–85%, with CSE doing better than ECE, and a highest package near 40 LPA and average around 8–9 LPA for 2024, which is solid for a young IIIT. The transit campus at Mantripukhri still has essentials like Wi?Fi campus, library, labs, auditorium, hostels, faculty housing and playgrounds.
