Course Curriculum Overview

University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra provides B.tech, Mtech and phd courses. It is under All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). From 2023, new pattern is introduced and it helps the student with mordern learning.

Our e cell provides us with various job opportunities as well as internship opportunities. Companies like BEL(BHARAT ELECTRONICS), HINDUSTAN UNILEVER, etc visits for giving both job opportunities as well as internship opportunities

University Institute of Engineering and Technology, kurukshetra university, kurukshetra has its own e-cell. It conducts various placement drives through out the year and even provides internship opportunities to freshers.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee of 1st year is 86000 divided into 45000 for 1st semester and 41000 for 2nd semester. There are scholarship for GENEWS and other categories. The girl students can apply for Pragati scholarship that providea with 50000 per year.

Campus Life

The environment of the university is too calm. It is adjacent to nit kurukshetra. Old hostel facilities are good but not up to the mark. But new hostels facilities are really good. Girls hostel complex has two reading rooms, 1 gym and a dispensary

The hostel rent is 12000 in which 4000 is security deposit. The hostels have facilities of wifi. Girl's hostel complex has two reading rooms along with gym and a dispensary. It also has a shiv mandir. Overall the hostels are in good condition

Admissions can be done by two means 1. Through direct contact: by directly contacting the institute 2. Through HSTES counseling Even you can apply with 12th pass certificate for Biotechnology and mechanical branches

Honest review for my college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the curriculum 7/10. It prepared the students with the theoritical aspects but lacked to prepare them for the practical knowledge. It can be improved by focussing more on practical examination. Each semester there were 3 exams, out of which two were sessionals and one was main exam. The exam difficulty level was moderate but the marking was strict.

Affordable B.Tech College with Decent Academics and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

placements at my college are decent but not extremely high like top engineering institutes. College has a placement cell that workds to connect student swith companies and prepeare them for the recruitment process. They orgarnize activities such as resume-building workshopsm aptituted training, mock interviews, soft-skills sessions to help students become more confidebt before palcements. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester of B.tech program. During this time, companies start visiting the campus for recruitment drives and placement interviews. before that student are encouraged to complete internships and improve their technical skills so they better prepared when placement season starts. some of the companies that have visited the campus in recent years include companies from the IT and service sector such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and a few smaller software and startup companies. These companies mainly hire students for roles like software developer, system engineer, technical support engineer, and trainee engineer. the highest package offered in recent year has been around 6-8 LPA, usually offered by a good tech company or startup. Average package is around 3-4 LPA. while the package are not extremely high, they still provide a good starting point for fresh graduates entering the IT industry. In terms of placement percentage around 30-40% of students who actively participate in placements manag to get placed through campus drives. some students also prefer to apply for jobs off-campus which can sometimes lead to better oppportunities depending on their skills and projects.

NIT Kurukshetra - An Institute of National Importance

Placement Experience:

The college offers internships to the students from 3rd year onwards and students become eligible for the placements from the 4th year of college. The companies that visited this time to our college were Microsoft, Google, Deloitte, nab, swiggy and many more. I am planning to target the on campus placement.

From 7th semester students are eligible to sit in the placement rounds A lot of companies visit our college Highest package in 2024-25 session is 63.12LPA and average package for the college is 13.21LPA and median package is 10 LPA Placements are 85.90 percent students are placed out of elegible students for placements I would be like to work in govt sector or private companies

Placemts over here are okayish i would say , but the thing is that mostly govt exam aspirants come here so that they can study peacefully without thinking much about attendance an all , there are few clubs for tech enthusiast as well , and you will eventually know students who are into coding and stuff because they are very few . 7-8 Companies are visiting during this recession time , mostly service based , With the avg package of 5 lpa .

I applied to ymca in faridabad and gju in hisar and ctae in udaipur. I choose this college over them because I am from Haryana and udaipur will be so far from my house and in ymca there are no hostels present and in gju I take suggestions and people say uiet kuk is better than gju. the student must have completed 12th class their are direct 12 th basis admision and they accept jee marks also the allotment of the couse depends upon the raks an individual scores the application form are present on the university website as well they admission can be done in the HSSC counselling session which happen in the month of july to augest after the jee exams The reservation benefits are also their for SC, ST ,OBC, EWS categories the exams which college conduct are not so easy but not so difficult at same time But they don't give marks to the student...Read More
