Remarks

I came to know about PM COLLEGE Of ENGINEERING through their buses which were parked near my residence. Upon researching the prospect of studying at this college attracted me and I chose to visit the campus physically. College authorities were kind enough to arrange transport back and forth from the college for me. As I reached the college, I was given a brief tour of the PM Group Of Institutions where I came to know about all the courses offered and the facilities provided. After choosing the course of my interest which was Btech. in Civil, a very smooth process of admission was carried out. The staff and faculty were very polite, kind, and understanding. The fee structure was very affordable. And as I undergo my 3rd year in this institution I find myself in a position to recommend this institution to others. Knowledgeable faculty, a well-maintained cricket ground, convenient bus service to all major areas, a hostel for both genders, a canteen & a lush green campus make this college great!

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because Civil Engineering was a course of my very interest and I was sure of my decision when I was given a thorough tour of all the facilities provided at the PM College Of Engineering regarding this course. All possible equipment in labs and very frequent practical application really helped prepare the students well in their course. Faculties are present for every subject offered. All the teachers and professors are very experienced and helpful. Classes followed by exams were conducted regularly at the right time with ample time to prepare and excel.

Placement Experience

4.5

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester itself. Loads of opportunities and proper guidance are provided by the college and the training and placement officer. Students with around 7gpa are good enough for job opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was affordable and broken into two installments for every year. College authorities are kind of enough to provide extra time in case of any financial instability. Job opportunities are ample and any good student would get a very good package from placement. Internships are also provided through their training and placement officer.

Campus Life

4.5

Life at the campus is great. The crowd, diaspora, and like minded people would mean a great group for you to hang out with and spend your most important stage of life. Annual fests are organized. A proper fresher party and farewell party for new and departing students respectively. Cricket, volleyball, and badminton tournaments with prizes are organized.

Interview Experience

5

No. There was no group discussion. But my ability and basic knowledge were tested to determine my general intelligence and my idea of the basics of course I was keenly pursuing. Which said, at least a good percentage in 10th and 12th is a must. Other than that basic knowledge about the course you propose to take admission in should be known too. An overview of the basics and importance of the field would be enough for preparation.

The companies that visit consist of mondelez, Adani wilmar, zomato hyper pure, haldiram, loykaa, jubilent, baker's dozen, Lt foods, etc. The highest package goes up to 15 lakhs and average package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are done in the final year. In the 7th semester, students have to go for a semester-long industrial training. Some students are offered pre-placement offers, and some sit for the placement process. The highest packages have gone upto 8 LPA-10 LPA, in quality/supply chain/management related roles. More than 10-15 companies visit, and almost all of the students get placed. I personally would like to go for higher studies.
