It is growing field with lots of opportunities for practicing and non practicing professionals. There are many more opportunities in research field. The clinical practices can be good source of income.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 56000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Total internship period is about 12 months. You have to visit total 12 centers situated in different districts of Maharashtra as well as outside of Maharashtra. The students are provided with 11k of stipend during the internship period.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is affordable to many students as approximately fees lie around 50k to 60k . There are many scholarship schemes by government of Maharashtra for support in education. After under graduation you can get job with 50-60 thousand salary per month in verious companies

The campus life is good. As for cultural and campus life point of view the campus provides lots of opportunities with different different clubs and committees. The overall social environment of college is encouraging for personal growth

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is available. For boys the hostel is located in parel campus while for girls it is located in goregaon campus. Good security. Proper hygin maintenance. 24x7 water and electricity supply. Low cost which makes it good for everyone.

Admission

The admission process is conducted by MAFSU. You can visit www.mafsu.ac.in for more details and latest dates. The cut off is in range between 500 to 550 marks for general category for sate quota. The reservation for region to sate is 70 percent to 30 percent

Mumbai Veterinary College Balanced Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is for the Bachelors of Veterinary Science. One can opt for Masters in the a chosen field or file for civil services. Many graduates opt for working in clinics or veterinary related companies. The teaching methods could be improved by more innovative methods of teaching rather than using same powerpoints each year. More practical classes should be held. Internal exams are held every 2-3 monthes and the final exams are held during November to December.

Why its the best

Course Curriculum Overview:

The bachelor of veterinary science and animal husbandry course is very good and I will rate 10/10 to the course. The timing of the annual exam is 3 hourse and for unit test it is 1.5 hours exam. The difficulty of exam level is moderate.

About my vety college

Remarks:

It's a indeed a good college just have some problems of having two campuses and moving from one campus to another campus is very tidious during summers. And this college established in 1880s so there is some old buildings you can see too in campus.

I applied to many MBBS colleges but didn't get in due to my low NEET score. No rejection letter was provided. This college only takes admission through NEET scores and through a councelling process. 450+ score in NEET is a must for general students and varies from 200 to 300 for reserved students. Two regions- local and overall in Maharastra are alloted. Local region cutoff are lower than overall region.
