I liked the campus provide for our college alot. The infrasture is good
Faculty is overall good i liked it there teaching methods are really effective
Placement cell provide placements every year and i liked that around average pahkage of 3lpa is provided

Dislikes

The paint is very bad.also there is worse canteen i have ever seen
Also there a obly few internships are provided by college to students

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum and syllabus are intersting also the faculty.the curriculum helps us toprepared for real world application as because pf practical being included in the curriculum there can be some improvement in the lectures duration they should be increase a little bit in order to cover up the syllabus in time The difficulty level of exam is low also they are not that much frequent.

Internships Opportunities

As i have been taken part in an internship as hr for company lernx.they provide two month internship with stipend of 10000 rs and incentive also. HR role was offerd. Task was to interview the new birs for company.

Placement Experience

Students of 3rd year becomes eligible for placements alsothe students of 1st and 2nd years becomes eligible for internships provide along with placement offer. Company visited are wipro,hp,infosys and samsung but these changes every year these are some i could remember for now.the highest package given wa 9lpa and the average is 3lpa around 75% od studends get placed. I will seek placement through college after my degree else i will go in coperate sector.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees are increased thats true in last year by 1000 rs also these hikes are being in control now theres is around 22000 rs per year including tution fee examination fee and overall.to support students finacial the scholarship is provide of around 5k per year.i havent undertaken any campus employment yet

Campus Life

They are several fest organised by campus in month of march also fest are organised on different frstivals.awide range of books are available in library from course books to novels and all types.water and fan facilities and regular ventilatilators are provided. Also several sports are provide like volleyball,cricket,footbsll etc.there is a pge du says on insta run by du student anonymous has great impact on stydents

Admission

Eligibility of course include the marks in cor subject like for my course there are math physic and english.also the cuts off are not so high for science stream but for arts there is high cutoffs every year.entrance exams are quite dufficult.there should be a direct entrance exam for du so instead of cuet and after that csas portal we could directly get admitted by any one of these.

The faculty is very responsive and colloborative there are around 21 student for each faculty for our course. All the facultys are phd and they are very interactive to students.all the faculty members are result oriented and engaged to every student so that every one should get what they are teaching

THE ALL ROUNDER

Likes

The college has a very beautiful greeny campus.
The library is just the best thing that the college has , it is the largest in du, with computers study area all books and magazines newspaper and other necessities.
The students and teachers are very kind helpful ambitious and intelligent , you will learn a lot here.

Dislikes

The administration sometimes works too slowly regarding dew things.
The canteen is very big and food is also nice but in rain water gets concentrated there.

Placement Experience:

it is said that the placements of this college are good and average being 10LPA and 17 LPA the highest. Many companies come for the placement drive every year and many of seniors have got placement in their third year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Dream college or not ?

Likes

Greenery of college campus and surrounding areas
Close metro access and other basic amenities
Diverse crowd which allows good exposure overall

Dislikes

Wifi Network is slow and not available at all places in campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

The aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to choose this course is that i have biology subject in class 12 so i thought of bsc The frequency and timing are good because we can give exams of 2 semester at a same time

venky is one of the best college in south campus

Likes

ratio of girls to boys is almost equal and students are well behaved
quality of social interaction is good students are cooperative
college societies are helpful for students and provide good guiding

Dislikes

our campus have 30+ dogs which is sometimes harmful for students
there is a language barrier between students and teachers
EVs faculty is very strict and they are not cooperative

The life at SVC

Likes

The fees is quite affordable, giving you a lot of flexibility for other academic programs/ commitments
The college has a great reputation and brand value
The exposure that the college provides in real life

Dislikes

The infrastructure is old and outdated, has a lot of scope for improvement
The administrative work is very slow and includes too much formalities
Low focus on co curricular activities and sports

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Likes

the location, nearest metro station ie Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus is at a walking distance of 2-5 mins
the crowd, students are quite decent and friendly.
opportunities, in college itself there are so many opportunities for students to explore through college societies

Dislikes

classes are canceled sometimes without any prior notice which creates a hassle for students coming from far away.

Placement Experience:

the placements of sri venkateswara college are quite good. campus placements are offered for third and fourth year students to the best of my knowledge. the average ctc offered was of 6.43 lacs, highest of 13.4 lpa. many great companies like bain and company, bcg, ey, deloitte, pwc, goldman sachs, accenture, rsa offered placements. in total, 70+ companies came and about 115+ students were placed.

Intro to DSEU

Likes

I like the atmosphere in our college. Our college promotes us to think beyond the boundaries.
We have lush green campus in vivek vihar . Our campus is surrounded by parks and we'll managed societies.
The student in our college share a very good mindset . Each student has some unique qualities or the other .

Dislikes

The faculty is not very good here . The teachers don't listen to problems faced by the students .
Our college's online presence is very disturbed. Our college website lags a lot and there are always issues with attendence.
The authorities are not very well managed .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

The Honest Opinion about Hansraj College

Likes

The College provides great Exposure to everyone.
The Crowd and Societies of the College are always active and energetic.

Dislikes

The whole structure of Admin office is underdeveloped, which utilizes a lot of our precious time.
Many of the College events are ill-organised.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
