I wanted to become engineer in mostly tech field and core oriented. So I chose electrical engineering. Our college students are from all over the country so it kind of improve communication and knowledge. Improvement can be done by focusing more on application rather than theory. There is two main exams in one semester and two test.

We get to choose where we want to do internship(limited places). We write application to college and college contact the institution for internship program. For my department, we can go to power grid, mspcl , imphal airport, etc.

From the 5 semester students are allowed to sit in college campus placement. Companies like Bosch, tata, Samsung, tcs comes to college for placement. Highest package is around 50 lakh every year and average is around 700000 lpa. About 75 percent gets placed . I plan on doing MTech after college.

Since the college is government funded. The tuition fees varied depending upon parents income and reservations. College fee for sc , st and below 1 lakh income students range from 5000 to 10000 per semester. Fee for below 5 lakh income is 30000 and above 5 lakh is 50000 to 60000. Hostel fee is 26900 per semester. Scholarships are not provided by college but students are eligible in nsp scholarship programs and private institutions scholarship.

There is state level Ougri festival which is organized by the college students every year. The library is very small in our college but you cant get eBooks from the college library. The facilities and provisions provided in the class room are below par. There is college meet for sports every year. There are several club run by the students.

Our college give hostel facilities to all the students except for students which are very close to the college. Hostel provide free drinking water, free water, free Wi-Fi ,table ,chair ,almirah, etc. The meal quality and menu is average. The hostel fee is free but the mess fee is Rs. 150 per day.

I enter the college by appearing jee mains. Application is available in nta website. Application fee varies for different reservations but they are affordable. There is reservations for obc ,sc, st, ews, pwd. The jee mains are held two in a year. the difficulty is above average. The admission process is done by Josaa.

The college faculty to study ratio is very good since our class has 30 students, most teachers know all the students by name. Most of college faculty are PhD scholars. Some teachers are very at teaching while others are the opposite. The interaction and approachability in our college is very good. There is WhatsApp group with the teacher for every subject.
