Course Curriculum Overview
I have opted for BA economics and the relevance of this course is not questionable as it provides us with various avenues to opt for after the completion of this course. This curriculum helps us understand the day to day financial activities, the economy of India and various aspects of management. Improvement in this curriculum can be done by introducing a more inclusive education patterns, including practical knowledge. Per semester there are two exams which are held, which are the mid sem and the end sem. The frequency of the examinations is more or less adequate.
Fees and Financial Aid
Being a government college here the fees is very minimal like RS 5000 or so for the admission yearly and no monthly fees. Eligible students can avail financial assistance like government scholarship, fee waivers etc. Campus employment opportunities are very minimal or none as it is a college offering Bachelor's and Masters degree.
Campus Life
Social life is more or less good in the college yearly annual fest is held where sport and cultural activities take place. It has a well stocked library with good infrastructure like AC etc. Classroom facilities include projector for smartclasses. Annual college election is held where the student union is elected to look after the various college activities of the particular year.
Admission
Admission process is simple, there is no entrance test for getting into this college. The 12th boards marks and the yearly cutoff matters for that concern. When you opt for a particular hons. subject then the marks of that very subject is considered for the admission.
Faculty
The faculty members are Highly educated, most of the professors are Ph.D and have good mentorship skills. Faculty to student ratio is also favourable for the students. Teachers are friendly and easily approachable, always ready to help.
