There is mandatory internship for students afte 5th semester for 6 weeks atleast . There are many companies that visit the campus and one have to apply it through the career and placement cell . Top companies visit the campus and it conduct tests which needs to be qualified to get the offer letter . But it is easy to get on campus internship as compared out side campus . The salary ranges from 30000-120000 ( higher end salary for international internship offer).

The complete fee structure as follows: There is admission fees compulsory 18000 Then the fees have mainly two components tuition fees and mess -hostel fees Tuition fees : Gen/obc ~ 40000 Family income between 1-5 lakhs=40000/3=13333 Sc/st/ family inncome less than 1 lakh =0 Mess-hostel fees: Its same for all ~24000 There are many scholarships provided by the institute like On the basis of family income If its less than 1 lakh than there is no tuition fees If its between 1-5 lakhs than there is only 1/3rd fees applicable And with time to time , the dean student office email us about the different kind of scholarships for different students like for girls students there are 2-3 scholarship , for disabled people there are scholarships and there is one sbi office in the campus which readily give loans on minimal interest.

There is biggest fest of the himalayas Miraz conducted this year . Other fests are for sports-ranneeti And many other fests . There is club for literature, photography, artgeeks for creativity and many more . There is NSS group for social service in which you can participate There is inter hostels gc's. There is many competitions that held in regular interval which has prize money varying from 5000-50000/- It provides college an overall interactive culture.

Hostel is compulsory for all the students . Fees for it is around 25000. Since its a new iit , hostels are newly built and its well spaceous. The facilities in hostel includes , table tennis , study room in each floor , free wifi , rooms available from single double to triple sharing. There is iron in each hostel , microwave , and a fridge available for student ease . There is sitting place below the hostel abd canteen area in 10-15 meters . There are 5 mess in the north campus 2 pure vegetarian . Its quality is really good and there are special dinner in regular basis . Mess are just in 50-100 meters from the hostel .

Eligibility: Class 12th -minimum 75% Jee mains qualified Jee advanced qualified All the details you can get from the official website of jee advanced, each year one of the seven old iits conduct jee which uploads the details in their official website in 2023 it was by iit Guwahati and in 2024 its by iit madras . Jee mains happens for twice in jan (20-28) And april(1-7) Jee advanced in 25th may to 4june There is cutoff for each of the categories that you can get from jossa website and individual cutoff also from jossa website . Jee mains is of 300 marks Jee advanced has 2 papers 3 hours each in a single day total of 360 marks

Our computer science and electrical department chairperson Aditya nigam sir himself is known personality in the Iris recognition system in the world. Teacher are highly encouraging and always available for help . You can connect to any teacher by taking an appointment over mail . Teacher combines theoretical knowledge with the practical application like most of the courses have 1/2 labs each week . Which is evaluated by professors. They provide good opportunities to work under them to get hands on research experience. The Robotics department teachers are highly encouraging to built new robots which can be industrial used
