- The exposure we get is really good. We get to interact with people from different places and get to know about them.
- Infrastructure of my college is pretty decent. And the student council is really active in upgrading it.
- The faculty is really active and takes interest in taking classes.
Dislikes
- College focuses alot on completing attendance.
- No sports team for girls. Being a girl who likes to be a part of a sports team it's a thing I dislike.
- More students should be from Delhi in Delhi University.
Course Curriculum Overview
I took bsc (hons) computer science to study about the coding languages that would help me in the real world to find a good job. But in the college they give you theoretical knowledge about the subject. If you really want to learn coding you have to do it on your own. you can't depend on the college. We have mix and match of subject on the basis of difficulty. The course has value but you have to learn some skills side by side
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of my course is around 30000 every year. It's really minimal if we compare it with other colleges and universities. The scope of full scholarship is still available on the basis of your cgpa and financial situation. But you still have to pay the examination fee that is around 2000 for computer science. Computer science is the costliest course of Delhi University.
Campus Life
My college experience till now is pretty good. I have just completed my second year and I really got many different experience in college. Attended fests , made friends with alot of people, roam around alot, travelled with them, enjoyed, studied and got alot of extracurricular experience. Our cultural fest Aavahan. The societies/clubs are really active. We have around 25-30 societies in our college. The facilities in our classroom is pretty much like every DU college. We have AC labs (4), classrooms, library, sports room, students activity centre etc.
Admission
I took admission by giving cuet. The eligibility was maths + English+ any three subjects. It gives opportunity to non-science students to come and learn the subject. The application form was filled through cuet smarth and it's fees was ?250. The admission process was simple. The weekly provides us with the college we get according to our score and if we want to take the admission we can fix the seat otherwise we can float for better opportunity.
Faculty
The faculty is easily approachable. If you are a regular student then you'll know everything they teach in the class. The guidance us available to all. Teachers are very friendly and guide us with all the knowledge they have about the field.
