Likes

The campus is very peaceful and clam, there is no much fights also.
The attendance criteria is good in our college its not too strict.
few faculties are very student friendly they help us with our projects too.

Dislikes

As said the campus is very compact and small
The hostel and canteen food is bad sometimes unhygienic.
we have 3 internal exams i guess they can convert it as project based.

I have selected computer science with datascience. The main reason was that the scope for data will always stay forever. Mainly for data science we need Python to work with big data so we have already completed learning python in our 1st semester. We have 3-4 codings tests every semester.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

in our college the placements are from 3rd year and the training starts from the very 1st year. we have a few good companies who come to recruite in our college but they take only a few of the students. Now many students are intested in Startups so palcements isnt that of a problem.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got this college through KCET so my fee structure is around 1,24,000 in which the 24k is for the college and the rest is for the kcet board only for 1st year. There is a scholarship program provided by the vtu karnataka governement itself it can go upto 1L.

Campus Life

we mainly have CULTURA and AURA these are the fests conducted for each even and odd sem. Our library is very nice with all the books and we also have online materials also to access. As of social life we have too many clubs in our colleges which are monitored by a few faculty. there is good chance to interact and get to know people from outside through NSS and Rotract clubs.

Admission

For the exam which i wrote it was compulsory that the student have be a student in karnataka for 7 yrs minimum. for girls the admission fee is around 350/-rs . when we go through KCET we get we less fee rather than any other mode of addmission so i would recommend u this.

Faculty

We are lucky is the case of faculty they are very student friendly and they also inspire us with their works. All the facuties are Phd holders and they also have minimum of 2 patents registered in their name which helps the student to know more about the project. It's not only the book knowledge we also get to explore the real time knowledge cause of them.We have to meet our mentors weekly once.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
