Likes

The teachers are extremely approachable and well qualified.
A good amount of extra-curricular activities are conducted for the students to showcase their skills.
The campus is huge, well maintained and filled with greenery.

Dislikes

The classrooms are not well ventilated and the blocks are far from one another.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college follows VTU board in terms of syllabus and curriculum. Cyber Security is an evolving and always relevant field that made me want to pursue this stream. As a student studying in the 2nd batch of cyber security, there is still a long way to go. There are efforts being made to highlight our branch and meeting with the seniors.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have got my admission through COMEDK exam in 2023. COMEDK is an optional exam. The course fees is around 250000/year. The college accepts admission through KCET, COMEDK exams and also from management quota.

Campus Life

The campus life is overall satisfactory. The library is huge and open till 11pm. Classrooms are well spaced out. Various facilities like hostel, gym, auditorium, event halls, food court are available. There are various clubs from various departments. Many of the events held have 0 registration fees. Few of our fests include Pantheon, Agones.

Admission

The admission is a long process that will take months. COMEDK provides 3 rounds for admissions spread over a course of 2-3 months based on the ranking. Once you reach the college the admission process is pretty smooth with the formalities being done within an hour with teachers there to help you out.

Faculty

4.5

The teachers are well qualified with most of them holding PhD degrees. A friendly atmosphere is maintained between the teachers and the students. Most of the teachers have good depth of knowledge in the subject. The teachers are always ready to help the students out in subject related matters.

i would rate 3/5 because we want more systems to do our work as well as labs too,the main thing is we dont have that faculty compare to other department their are only 4 faculty,so they can't even able to take extra class for us ,so this is the main problem in our deparment

Good for you if you want a degree and want self learn

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are no such specific of the curriculum that influenceed me to take these course instead i was interested or kneen to this course., since my childhood I wanted do this course. It's good in terms of virtual world but not for real world. Everywhere there's a need of improvement no practical knowledge is present here no one talks about new ideas not even they think about even some of them came because it costed them low. No such specific difficulty.

Placement Experience:

The students from the last year that is seventh semester are allowed to attend the placement given on campus. There are not so many campus placement available. Many companies such as tcs, wipro and other companies basically giving less salary compared to other colleges. There are many few students who got placed in the companies through campus placement hence it cannot be trusted completely. My plans after getting a degree is to get a job or even higher studies of possible. The average students getting placed are very low.
