Good sporty atmosphere around students to share knowledge. A sense of completion is all around the college
Beautiful campus adding a jist of clamness in between the hustle. The campus is shared but all three colleges. Fine arts, Applied Arts and Architecture

No placement cell is present but the college is renowned

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is according to the Mumbai University which is sufficient but definitely needs to get upgraded to the latest version inorder to match the actual practical implementation of the the course and the matters we learn.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is very less around 9000 because it is a government college, though it is now being added to the list of autonomus so the next batch might have different fee structure. But there are various government as well as other scholarship to avail.

Campus Life

There is only one annual festival which is held during December. It lasts for a week and has exciting games and activities.This college jas Asia's best Library for architecture and has some of the best books written by famous architects which are not available anywhere else . Classroom are only decent and no tech devices are used apart from projectors .

Admission

One needs to complete HSC from science field in order to be eligible for the entrance exam . One can go for both JEE part 2 as well as NATA exams. This college is 2nd best college in Maharashtra and has a good name outside of Maharashtra so the entrance score should be more than the average score in order to get admission.

Faculty

Faculties are pretty qualified and most of them are alumni of the college so the try to get us to give our 100% in each assignment. they make sure we yeild more than our potential every time and whenever needed.

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . The curriculum has some good inputs but it doesn't make you industry ready extra efforts should be taken to learn advance softwares extra classes newer research etc discussion on advance technology becomes important in modern age how architecture is changing is not discussed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation.There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Designing dreams at DYPCET

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.

You need to possess at least 50% marks in B.Arch from a recognized university, The student should have completed 21 years of age before applying for the master's program. The candidates who have a diploma in architecture are also eligible to apply. The admission is granted on the basis of scores obtained in MAH-M.Arch-CET examination. The application form can be filled by both the modes and you can pay the application fee of 800 and take out the printout of the application form after filling all the details.
