Remarks

The academic excellence in this college was intense and were also brushed on our leadership skills. Frequent monitoring of learning and teaching were also done which was really important for professional development.

Course Curriculum Overview

Architectural Design Studio,Allied Design Studio ,Architectural Building Construction & Materials, Theory & Design of Structures, Architectural Representation & Detailing were few of our core subjects. Apart from this we also had exhibitions, study tours and college projects.

Course Fees: INR 62925 per year

Placement Experience

Placement was average, various organization visited our campus for pool hiring, anyhow our placement cell has always worked hard to offer us the best. My seniors were offered average job roles and remaining opted for higher studies.

College Events

We have our own Vangmay Mandal Events and also arcus cultural fests where we can participate and perform in various events like drama, music, dance, art. We also have fresher's day to welcome new comers with lot of enthusiasm.Our college as well launched its first magazine this year which called out for another celebration.

Campus Life

Our campus is confined with library, Claude Batley Gallery, Seminar Hall, Lecture Halls. Lecturer visits our campus from abroad for conducting various seminars and workshops which ultimately benefits us.

Admission

I appeared for the NATA entrance exam and was called for the counselling process for further admission process, applicants can also appear for JEE and opt for admission in Sir JJ College of Architecture. The mode of application is both offline and online.

REAL INSIGHTS OF RIZVI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus,academic timelines,rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl,indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly.Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems.And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics,chemistry,mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil,mechanical,electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

Placement Experience:

Placements of the college are good . They are incerasing year by year . As now college is made autonomous placement is also good in the college. Companies like TCS , CAPEGEMINI, like such big companies are also coming to college . as such college have developed the placement ratio . the higest package offered in the college was last year it was 18 lakhs . average pacakages offered in the college is betweeen 3 to 7 lakhs . but the students are geeting placed from college. Near about 70 to 80 percentage of the students are getting placed every year.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students get eligible for placemnets and from 4th semester students get eligible for internships. Dell, Oracle Tcs and many more such companies have visited the college The highest package is 50 lpa for MCA in computer science while the highest for B.TECH CSE is 44.14 lpa. Many good companies such as J.P. Morgan and Goldmann sachs have also come here for placements. The average package is 6lpa. Approximately from Computer science across 70 to 80 percent students are getting placed every year. After my B.tech Degree I would be pursuing my Masters degree from abroad.

You need to possess at least 50% marks in B.Arch from a recognized university, The student should have completed 21 years of age before applying for the master's program. The candidates who have a diploma in architecture are also eligible to apply. The admission is granted on the basis of scores obtained in MAH-M.Arch-CET examination. The application form can be filled by both the modes and you can pay the application fee of 800 and take out the printout of the application form after filling all the details.
