Likes

Bestf faculty members having PhD in their profession and teaching with sincerity
Good infrastructure provided in college campus to all students and other staff members as well
Library is very decent and books can be provided other than academics

Dislikes

No air-conditioners in classrooms, which provided discomfort in summers
No regularity in students coming to college on a daily basis
No parent teacher, meeting and carelessness for students

My keen interest in this course was developed when I had been told to give presentations, critical analysis of philosophers, book review as an assignment, and even when I studied truth, functional logic, subject in my course

Anyone can apply for internships and placements in any year, depending upon the skills, aptitude, and the logical awareness, including the interview giving skills Anyone can get certificate certificate from university of Delhi by doing small courses as well

Fees and Financial Aid

The course completion of my BA honours philosophy is now or four year graduation and I think it is the best education change as one can pursue masters of one year after pursuing it and also if a student get 75% average in CGPA, then she or he can directly pursue PhD

Campus Life

Our college is very famous for conducting seminars, events and fest. One recently occurred fest was Divya Anjali in which ethnic patterns and authenticity was maintained. Students from outside Delhi felt homely from these events

Admission

The eligibility of this course is by qualifying the CUET test which is conducted by approval of government institution of University of Delhi. It has questions of general awareness and aptitude, maths and the subject studied in class 12th board.

All the professors in my department and even the other departments as well were very friendly approachable and had a therapeutic approach towards students and their needs I interacted almost every day with my professors in every lecture seminars as well

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is something that can have improvements. For example I am studying C++ in my computer minor class which is becoming less and less relavent as compared to a lamguage like python. Alot of job prospects require students to know a language like R so I feel things like that should be taught so that the course cam make a student more real world ready.

DESHBANDHU COLLEGE BEST CHAPTER OF MY LIFE SO FAR

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course requires a lot of analytical and logical thinking. The scope is quite wide in my course without having any professional degree too like research, analytics, finance manager etc. This course gives opportunity to gain applied skills and as we are dealing with quantitaive aspects our statistics also gets better with time. Few improvements which i would like suggest are that their should more practical and real life knowledge, currently it is very theoritically heavy. Teaching online softwares must be compulsoury so that we remain updated with technology.

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are pretty good. The placement cell of my college is pretty active and facilitataes the placement process. Companies like Deloitte, EY and PWC often come to our college for placements with the average package being Rs. 8,00,000. After getting this degree, i will pursure another degree in MBA or I might also take a part in the placement process and pursue an MBA later. Students in semester 6 and further can take part in the placement process but there are internship fairs and summer internship programmes for students who are not eligible for placements

Students become Eligible for campus placements after in the 3rd year. The placements have been improved a lot in the past years. Companies like Pwc, kpmg, McKinsey, bain and Co come for campus placements. The highest package was 23 lakhs per annum last year.

Bursting the bubble

I applied to almost all colleges offering the course that i have chosen, i got confirmed admissions in majority of them, however I chose this college because of it's location, unique exposure and the faculty. However, some of the colleges I applied to rejected me too, as this course is highly competitive and very few colleges offer this course, I acknowledge that I am not the best and hence I lost my spot in those colleges. The admission process : - Sit for the cuet exam - Portal opens for admission to all du colleges after one or two months, register there. - Admission happens in three phases through the portal ? registration, making and submission of the preference list (course wise and college wise) and lastly the allotment. Interest in Business and Economics and getting a DU Degree is the only reason to go here in 2025.

There are only 10 colleges offering BBE in Delhi University. So, therefore, the course is high in demand. It is a professional course so the college is still in the process of adapting to a professional setting. I applied for all other colleges offering BBE in DU, and got admitted here via the Common University Entrance Exam (CUET). My preference was to go to Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce to pursue this same course, but the cutoff for the same is very high.
