Likes

Campus I liked the garden area filled with lots and lots of flowers the cleanliness the canteen food
All of the faculty was well educated and good teachers
The courses which were provided and various other activities as well

Dislikes

Sometimes the classes weren't regular as they should have been
Sometimes there were delay in societies activities and no awareness
And some of the companies didn't come for recruitment

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose bcom because I am commerce background student and wanted to pursue my career further in this field only and I was interested in business related subjects which was covered in this course and I didn't take bcom.hons just because didn't want maths

Internships Opportunities

Internships were offered in various courses there was a foriegn language building in our campus itself it was nice to have various options internships was offered by college in different courses such as bcom

Placement Experience

Yes there were alot of companies which visited our campus earlier I wasn't aware of them but with time as our 3rd year started I got to know all the big 4 companies are visting and they are hiring alot of students

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure was well defined there was a minimum fees for the course and they didn't ask for any big amount for other activities as well sometimes for some particular festivities money was demanded by the college

Campus Life

Overall experience was great made a lot of friends had alot of new experiences got into many extra curricular activities which helps in our confidence and makes us a better person somewhere i guess so college was fun

Admission

Eligibility was uptp 90% score in 12th it was a merit based admission proper cut off was there I got this college in first cut off I got reservation benifit as well otherwise I would have gotten this college in second or third cut off maybe

Faculty

Faculty members were quit nice helpful in nature well awared of the subject they are teaching and had a great bond with students which is very important at this stage and overall I liked the faculty of the college

A students insight on his college

Placement Experience:

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.

Placements of my college is quite ok, specially in my course the placement is good.Major students get placed. Big Companies visited our campus for placements- EY, Deloitte,Kpmg. Highest package of our college last year was 21 lakhs.

Curriculum is old and rigid, the still teach old methods and syllabus is updated very slow. But with introduction of SEC and VAC courses student have some different options which the can choose to study for their semester.

Dyal Singh College is definitely a great college!!

Placement Experience:

PWC, Icici Prudential and like wise companies which needed students for finance and accountancy roles offers placements to students. Many new startups too have started coming and this has made placements percentage shoot up in recent past.

Placement Experience:

From 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements I am not sure about the number of offers made but last year Deloitte visited the campus for recruitment. Highest package is around 11lpa plz check on Google. And average is around 5-6 lpa. Seniors told me around 30-40% of the batch gets placement. My plan is to do mba after college

It's a decent college, but better than many other colleges

Placement Experience:

Final year students(5th semester) are eligible for the placements, many famous company recruits, like Deloitte, flipkart,amazon and there's many local companies as well. The highest pakage in 2024 was 24LPA. 20-30% students gets the placement as most of the students opt for Higher studies or get into competitive exams. The jobs offered are based on your course.

After the graduation the students are Eligible for the placement and internship are provided in the same during graduation or courses. And some of the good companies which visited and made the offers. The average package of the company offered that 1 lakh approx in the placements this opportunity starts in du also now the good student can do this. Getting a 90% Above Mark's . After completing my graduation I will take admission in maters also. And also prepare the government exam's.

Placement Experience:

I am getting in srcc was purely my luck. i applied for this college because anywhere you see you will find the name of this college to be the top college in the commerce field and in every other way. i also applied for hansraj, kmc, hindu, etc but i got into my first preference. the admission process in not very complex you give cuet, score more that the cutoff, then make a preference list, and if you get into college you just have to submit the fees online on the du portal which will confirm your admission....Read More
