Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course revelation is around 50-60% look the industry right now demand experience but the courses which theese college make us study is basically not very helpful and the frequency of exams is almost every month

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of this college is ?119350 per year. During my 4 year btech the fees is almost same every year. However AKTU do take the examination fees of ?7000-8000 every year. Every year AKTU assigns scholarships on the basis of merit and the girl students are benefited the most

Campus Life

2

The college contains 24 different cultural and technical societies the senior to junior connection is very strong and very impressive. The socialising is very good the worst part is the fest. The fest are very boring and this year it got cancelled.

Admission

The Admission process at my time was through UPTU rank right now they are taking admissions through JEE main the min cut off for cse course in jssaten is around 88-91 percentile . After clearing cut off the students are asked for the counseling session where the courses and streams are discussed

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ratio is 50:3 and to be very honest the teachers are not that qualified as we intrepid in an Engineering college. The faculty such as kakoli banerjee as CSE hod is good and very supportive. The mentorship is provided for the the final year students by assitant and Associates professors

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jims is a ipu college, so yeah curriculum depends entirely on ipu University. First year is similar for all btech courses. Or is easy to earn marks in lab and soft skill subjects but maths or physics is hard. Your 12th basics should be very good, else these two subjects will affect your overall SGPA badly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is good of btech but there there is only thing I don't like is that in btech course the subjects in first year are not related to career of students because there is physics, chemistry other irrelevant subjects present in first year but in second year the course become interesting and relevant. Curriculum is good and prepare well for real world applications. The exams comes frequently every month there is a class test but class tests are moderate on the basis of there difficulty level.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly speaking I don't like the curriculum of my college. Everything is same which people studied 20 years ago . Only few things has been changed and I don't understand why we need to study about things which don't have any existence in reality. They should focus on current tech and provide more learning opportunities in AI.

Course Curriculum Overview:

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
