Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus of BIT is very accurate and interesting. Placements cell is a key point to take Addmission in the college. Teachers explain every term with demo and also exam is being conducted very particularly at very good time , also you'll have weekly exams so that you will be prepared for mid and final exams properly

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee structure will be given to you at the time of Addmission n will not be increased after that. Total 8-9L will be costed for engineering including every facilities. Scholarship are also available, like if you score more than 80% in your exams than you'll get scholarship accordingly, also for teachers kids scholarship is available and for ews student and st sc student also

Campus Life

one of the most famous event i.e. BITOTSAV takes place every year, in the month of February Books facility is top notch at the library, very good and proper library is available over there, you'll have no disturbance at all

Admission

You should have minimum 60% at your 10th, 12th and a jee mains score. At BIT mesra official website you'll get every information nicely and application form n everything. Reservations seats are also available , like 30%of seats are for reservation ones

Faculty

faculty is top notch, you'll not have to compromise in any thing You'll really enjoy every bit of this college Also there is limited seats and no over crowd, you'll get a good sort of college mates. Teachers are very supportive and understanding

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Admission experience is obviously good because why would a clg not welcome a laxmi lol jk....Read More

Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
