Course Curriculum Overview

4

The courses offered is pretty standard nothing too out of the box, but in every semester from the first year itself, a provision for start up and project developed was added, which is ideal for enthusiastic entrepreneur. We are also provided with metros for each group of 3-4, that are expert in the field. The curriculum covers all the requirements for a real world working environment with special focus on working as a team and stimulate real time project handling. Curriculum can be made better with addition of leetcode with data structures and more useful skill development courses like react or next.js

Internships Opportunities

2

There are no campus internship programs, but the placement cell, keeps the students informed regarding various oppertunities for internship that are available, the projects in first and second year focus on creating sometime unique and making a business model out of it, it really helps in the development of your critical thinking abilities.

Placement Experience

3

Placement are pretty decent an average of around 4 lpa, and highest of 58 lpa, the companies the usual hire includes Azentur, Infosys, TCS, and various other companies, around 90% of the students get placed, the college has 3 Azentur excellence training centres and nice tie ups with various other companies as well, I plan on pursing master after my graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee depends on how you join the college, for management seat the cost is extremely high and depends on the course, it can range from 10-15 lakhs but this includes all the 4 years, if you join with eamcet and you belong to general category you will have to pay around 1.5 lakhs including all the various fees such as library, tution fee, mis fee etc, if you want hostel services you will have to pay 80,000 and if you want bus transport you will have to pay 33,000 yearly. If you want to be part of the campus placement training program you will have to may 15,000 in your third year. If you are a student belonging to schedule caste or schedule tribe you can get huge amounts of benifit and deduction in fee.

Campus Life

4.5

Few of the main fests to look after includes, Ecstasy, this is basically an annual concert and transport is provided but the college, last year the singer that got invited was Darshan Rawal, ecstasy is a fun dj night as well. Traditional day, it's also the equivalent of freshers all the students are requested to wear traditional clothes and there are dj and everything, and hellnic, every year there is a theme and you have to dress up accordingly. Pursuit in sports is always supported by the college, it has a football ground, indoor badminton stadium, and various other arrangements. There are around 12 active students groups/ clubs in the college which you can join once you are in second year. The club's that are note worthy include, Google student developer club, came club and the center of innovation club.

Admission

Eacmet cutoff is around 25,000 if you want computer science and related courses, for the general category. There is no requirements as such for the management seats, for application form and various details regarding application process you can contact the college via college website or go the campus and ask your queries at the administration block. If you are from the reservation category you can get in with a rank of 120000 in eamcet as well. Admission process is totally based on eamcet so there are no scope for changes as such.

Faculty

3

Most of the faculty have masters degree or have PhD or pursuing PhD, faculty are pretty involved with students, the core subjects have very experienced faculty, the faculty to student ratio is 1:33, it's not ideal but faculty ensures it works smoothly by proper management, they use PPT, smart boards and hands of teaching methods, interaction with faculty is highly sorted after, each faculty interacts with every student almost on a day to day basis

Its a very conservative college and the faculty left a bad impression

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
