Facts about Kitsw

Curriculum is full of classes and strict time table where faculty only focuses on finishing the syllabus. Faculty members are teaches subjects not related to their specialization , and they say that's for the best of faculty so that they can teach all subjects related to a course. I suggest that instead of making a faculty members teach other subject make them teach their own subject because they have a better grip on the subject and can give maximum output to students. There will be exams very frequently mostly every 2 weeks and difficultly level depends on the subject, I would rate something 8 of 10.

As there's recession this year there are no placement or intresip offers as expected. Companies like Genpact , mind tree, cognizant, Cisco, etc came to college for placement but their recruitment is very less.

This year placements are very less compared to previous two years, there are multiple companies visiting the college but their recruitment is very less, At most a company is employing zero to mostly 2 students form a branch. Most of the placements were given to CSE and it's related branches. And there no sign of core companies. Most of the students are planning for higher education.

Tution fee is around 125000 and Library fee is around 7000 ,hostel fee is around 50000. So the total estimate for an year will be 135000 for tution fee and 50000 for hostel and during the placement time for the training they charge extra 10000. This year there's no sign of placement for an average student like me even the best of the class haven't got any internship or placement. .

Name of technical and annual fests are samshodini and sanskriti respectively. Technical fest is held around September and annual fest is around February. But they did not conduct annual fest this year. There are wide range of books and journals available in library. There's a projector in every class and labs are well equipped and mostly in working condition.

I was an diploma graduate and joined in college directly in second year.I got a rank of 80 in ecet and git a convenor seat in college. You can visit the college website for more fee and application details (kitsw.ac.in).

Everyone is well educated and had a great experience. But their teaching style is not that good, Most of the time they try to read out PPT and give a notes. There are tutorial classes where faculty members make the students to solve problems,the whole class is split into two groups and each group is provided with two faculty members during tutorial hours Thers no proper guidance and strict classrooms. We can interact with them once every week.
