BIT DURG is a great college as per the aspect of simply doing study and minding your own business.
Large campus area and as weel as clean campus green campus.
No Ragging is allowed inside the college and washroom are so clean hostel is so good and as well as best labs are provided.

Dislikes

Very less fest happens in this college merly zero.
No good preparation leves are provided between the exams.
75% attendance is compulsory and assignment work load is much much more.

In BIT DURG it is the best engineering college in chhattisgarh and many of the engineers who are working in PGCL CSPTCL CSEB NTPC are passout from my own college so it mayivayes me to chose this particular college for electrical engineering.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Placement Experience

From 7th sem you are eligible for sitting in placement. Some of the major companies visited are VI Adani power Cubelelo TCS Accenture JSW Shyam steel Godavari power plant. About 50% students get placed. My plane is to get my masters done

Fees and Financial Aid

In BOT Durg the tution fee of 1year is about 80000 rupees. And as per the placement many company comes but the average placement is between 4-5lpa. And as per the scholarship it is given by CG state government not by college if you are from SC ST OBC AND EWS.

Campus Life

Here two major fest happen one is OJAS and the other one is TEDXtalks. In this college central library is provided you can get your book issued. One experienced teacher is provided and wifi access is provided. Many sports are organised volleyball Football Cricket Badminton and many more. Many clubs are running like Robotics Drama PSC dance club and many more.

Admission

To get admission in BIT DURG you have to clear chhattisgarh state engineering test CGPET or Jee mains . cut off for CGPET it is about 70 marks for UR candidate. And cutoff for jee mains it some thing 81 percentile for UR candidate. After that you have to apply for counseling and get admission.

Faculty

In BIT DURG most of the professor are phd in their respective subject which is good for the student. Our professor really hello us in discussing out doubts with them and solve our problems. Other than this they also give us career advices.

BIT DURG a 3.5/5 college

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

It's a great college for engineering as well as commercial

Remarks:

As I've mentioned above the management is worse but the teaching system is good. The director is a piece of shit a bald cunt. He did not even know what he was doing. He was a non cooperative asshole. All he did was snoooe around in classes and intimidated teachers. All in one it is a good college to tak admission in.

This is a reputed college in Chhattisgarh, and maybe that's why I chose this college. One can get into it by giving either JEE Mains or CGPET. Cut-off for JEE Mains isn't really high here, 75 percentile can easily land you here with computer science branch. I don't really know much about the JEE Mains cut-off.
