What Students Say

Likes

Faculty member are well qualified, mostly from NIT and IIT.
Affordable fees for the engineering student.
Students are very friendly and teachers are also supportive.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not completed it is in under development.
New books are not available in the library.
College is too far from the city and road is worst.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very outdated and here the facilities more practical and they believe that if you want you can do other field like non-technical fields and something like government exam. There course or syllabus is not industrial ready.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 20500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees is 22900rs for first year student and from next year yearly fees is 20500rs which includes library fees, lab fees etc. Hostel fees is 9000rs yearly and 3000rs for mesh monthly. In this college you will get scholarship benefit of 26000rs for OBC and for SC/ST is 36000rs per year.

Campus Life

Campus is not completed, it is in under development. College is too far. This college have two buildings in huge area. Our campus have student section and consulted section they help students for there career. Our college provide medical camp provide medical facilities. There is ABVP group for student and NSS group.

Admission

This college was close to my home town and this college requires less marks for BTECH, MTECH. This college have more machins for practical learning as compared to other colleges of Chhattisgarh state. In this you will get admission by giving CGPET exam and also by JEE. Cutoffs are very low.

Faculty

There are some intelligent students. In these college so many students qualify for the GATE exam. Last year in mining engineering one student got rank AIR 80. There have more facilities those have done there studies from IIT and NIT. Exams are very hard, so many students get fail.

Night Life

This college is too far from the college. No stores but there is two cafeteria available and one college mesh available for outsiders. Our Hostel have a waden who is our professor and in hostel mostly students are living with sincereness. In the Surrounding of college no light is available and it is rural area. Bengali community lives in majority.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects which i really felt good was their fees of the btech is very low compare to other colleges and they provide decent placement . Like they should really work to teach more tech to cse students instead of theory.

Truth about NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is so good as per the stats . Like students are eligible for placements from there 7th sem . No. Of companies visited is around 200 (guess). Offers made 600(guess) . Highest package is 65 lpa , and average package is 9 lpa there are major two roles one is core engineering get role and other is non core data analyst role . 86 % students are placed last year . My plan is to get good placements from college itself and then after experience I will go for MBA or higher studies .

Affordable government college in Chhattisgarh

In first counseling I got Shankaracharya College of engineering Raipur in Computer science engineering. But I didn't take admission and applied for second counseling in which I got Vishwavidyalaya Engineering College Ambikapur. Marks was not enough for getting CSE branch in the GEC Bilaspur and Raipur. Somehow good government college with minimal facilities
