Course Curriculum Overview
Loyola College is an arts and science college. At the undergraduate level and diploma level, the college offers specific courses and requirements and foundational courses, advanced course and intermediate courses. The teaching of the English language is basically divided into three sections for easy understanding. The curriculum very well for real-world applications. There are two internal exams in between the semesters and one-semester exam after the semester. The timing for the students are very easy to cope up.
Internships Opportunities
There are internship opportunities in the college for my course and that is mandatory and that is to be done in the last year of the course. The companies that came for the internship was accenture,ibm,dny melon. I had done an internship in aquaculture sericulture poultry farming and diary farming.
Fees and Financial Aid
At the beginning of the college itself, the tuition fees were around eight thousand rupees per semester and when i reached the sixth semester it was around eight thousand five hundred rupees. I think the hike in the fees is not so much and it is affordable. The complete cost of education comes up to around 3 lakhs for three years. There are scholarships for single girl children and for the people who are below the poverty line. The campus canteen also provides jobs for the students including stipends for the part-time work they are doing after college time.
Campus Life
I had best the campus life throughout my studies. Loyola college has the best and biggest library in entire Chennai. the annual festival is the ovation that will be held in September and various film artists visit the college at that time. The facilities and technologies provided in the classroom are first quality as the classrooms are smart classrooms.
Admission
Eligibility of the course is that we should pass the twelfth exam. the application form will be in the college portal. application fees was rupees one hundred fifty, the application dates will be announced through the portal only. there are reservation available in the portal.
Faculty
Our faculty members have a very caring attitude. Our faculties member are always passionate, sincere and supportive and they are always willing to help students. We have a mentoring section at the start and end of every semester. We had a special mentor on the last semester. Women students were assigned to individual mentors and were added to special groups from the beginning of the college.
