Supportive friendly professors. Professors are always there for any doubt or Guidance a student needs.
Good infrastructure. Comfortable classroom, operating libraries. Gardens and sports ground.
Functioning college societies for development other than just academics

Course Curriculum Overview

Delhi University providing Bcom hons degree is a 3 year program, covering everything about a business, business operation, finances, management etc. Each year you have a different exposure and by the final year you can chose your preferred subject as per bcom's program. Subject like HR mgt, sales and marketing and finance. Etc. All under at a very minimal fee.

Internships Opportunities

College with a working placement cell provide good internship opportunities. Generally most if them are unpaid. But it's okay for a start. Most of the opportunity my college has given is of business development, finance, marketing etc.

Placement Experience

Students can apply for placements in their last year of the college. That is if it is a 3 year course you can apply for placements from your 5th semester. Generally the placements ranges from 3 lakhs to 5.5 lakhs. Around 30% of student gets placements

Fees and Financial Aid

Every college under delhi university have program not exceeding 1 lakh. Above that students can apply for different scholarships. Colleges provide equal opportunity to every student. One can easily pay their tuition fee with their scholarship amount.

Campus Life

One of the best things about delhi university is their different college societies, fests, cultural events etc. A student gets most of their exposure in such society and events. One should definitely join society to learn good team work and socialising.

Admission

Colleges generally have a very high cutoff in delhi university. It's not so easy to get a regular program here. Specially for general category student. There is a very high competition. Reservation benefits are given. And Once you start studying there is no partiality between any student afterwards

They use cool ways to help students learn, like talking and doing stuff together. They don't just teach in class but also do important research. Sometimes, they work with smart people from other countries to make the university even better. These teachers are not just about books; they also care about making the world better. They help out in the community and use what they know to solve problems. Basically, they're awesome and make Delhi University a really cool place to learn!

A students insight on his college

Placement Experience:

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.

Placements of my college is quite ok, specially in my course the placement is good.Major students get placed. Big Companies visited our campus for placements- EY, Deloitte,Kpmg. Highest package of our college last year was 21 lakhs.

Curriculum is old and rigid, the still teach old methods and syllabus is updated very slow. But with introduction of SEC and VAC courses student have some different options which the can choose to study for their semester.

Dyal Singh College is definitely a great college!!

Placement Experience:

PWC, Icici Prudential and like wise companies which needed students for finance and accountancy roles offers placements to students. Many new startups too have started coming and this has made placements percentage shoot up in recent past.

Placement Experience:

From 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements I am not sure about the number of offers made but last year Deloitte visited the campus for recruitment. Highest package is around 11lpa plz check on Google. And average is around 5-6 lpa. Seniors told me around 30-40% of the batch gets placement. My plan is to do mba after college

It's a decent college, but better than many other colleges

Placement Experience:

Final year students(5th semester) are eligible for the placements, many famous company recruits, like Deloitte, flipkart,amazon and there's many local companies as well. The highest pakage in 2024 was 24LPA. 20-30% students gets the placement as most of the students opt for Higher studies or get into competitive exams. The jobs offered are based on your course.

After the graduation the students are Eligible for the placement and internship are provided in the same during graduation or courses. And some of the good companies which visited and made the offers. The average package of the company offered that 1 lakh approx in the placements this opportunity starts in du also now the good student can do this. Getting a 90% Above Mark's . After completing my graduation I will take admission in maters also. And also prepare the government exam's.

Placement Experience:

students become eligible to placements from the fifth semester. some famous companies that come for the placements are deloitte, BCG, McKinsey, pwc, adani, etc etc average package is 9 LPA and highest was 36 LPA of all time

I am getting in srcc was purely my luck. i applied for this college because anywhere you see you will find the name of this college to be the top college in the commerce field and in every other way. i also applied for hansraj, kmc, hindu, etc but i got into my first preference. the admission process in not very complex you give cuet, score more that the cutoff, then make a preference list, and if you get into college you just have to submit the fees online on the du portal which will confirm your admission....Read More
