Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The courses all over du are best for the competitive exams. So if you are a student want to pursue masters or want to go abroad for study then this is very good way to continue from here. If u will do study by our own with syllabus you can easily do very much better

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is very less so no need to worry about it. The scholarship is also there for you if you are a student from reservation and you can get a laptop for some time also. But there is no hostels so you have to live in a pg or flat nearby college.

Campus Life

3.5

The college fest is srijan I would rate it 5/10. And previous year was good there were 2-3 program held like this. But you will not get good fest in this college truly. Books of polymer science course are available but very few. Classroom facilities are meadium . Teachers use projecters too much and after that black board. Fans are there and because of college is green college so no ac in the classroom. In Sports college is very weak. Students of this college run bcas meadia and bcas confession etc on Instagram also some groups of college at what's app like bcas unofficial.

Admission

If you are going for polymer science it is a very good course to choose. You have to give cuet exam and if you are getting 80percentile and more average in 3 subject specially in pcm(Nessecery in 12) you are getting admission in this course. And you can crack it using YouTube. The admission started usually by half of August. Reservation benefits are there with course and fee also. The exam difficulty is there only nearly 4 months you get for your semester exams. Admission process is fine but college should talk with students or reply them into mail call etc.

Faculty

3

The faculty of Department of polymer science having teachers from iit, and teachers conducted good research though but I feel they are limited to some students those are good in study. Most of the teacher don't support students that much.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as highly relevant and fairly comprehensive especially for the students inclined towards applied science and technology. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between the theoretical understanding and the practical application, supported by well equipped laboratories and project based assessments. The inclusion of skill enhancement course and the discipline elective papers provides felxibility and helps students explore interdisciplinary areas. but there is still a room for improvement in making the styllabus more industry oriented, such as integrating internships and live projects and workshops with industry partners to enhance pratical exposure. exams are also prepared in a way that simply memorizing the concept won't help rather deep understanding of the subjects would be needed that is they are much more aplication of comcept oriented. with consistent preparation you can perform well.

Placement Experience:

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.

The course curriculum is aligned with the today's requirements but it could be better. More practical than theoretical knowledge should be taught and industry level knowledge should be provided. End sems are mainly conducted in dec-jan and may-june months and timings differ shiftwise. Morning times are 9:30 pm to 12:30 pm and afternoon timings are 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
