Course Curriculum Overview

It was great decision to choose the college and as a pass out student of the college i would like to appreciate all the necessary meaning of law they have taught. Choosing BA.LLB for a person might be very convincing and it might a very easy decision but the hardwork and the knowledge neede in this course is on a higher point. Choosing the right college is always necessary it's not always about the college life or the college friends you will be getting or the faculty it will always be about your availability and dedication towards the course and the hardwork you put towards creating a better future in the society being a lawyer and serving the society with equality and justice.

Internships Opportunities

The college had provided a senior lawyer to give us the knowledge about the actual law field and court visits were held . it provides various moot court competition held within college campus as well as outside college as well. It has provided with various other intercollege compitition as well including fash show and debate competition as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college charges a 30 thousand per semester and the the time of admission there is separate admission fees as well as security deposit. The college even provides hostel facility as well as transportation for the convenience of the students as well as the faculty.

Campus Life

The college has provided various festival including Holi , basant utsav and freshers as well as farewell parties. It was held in a very cozy zone within the college premises and apart from the college life the social life was meant easy by friends.

Admission

The admission process was very easy and all the staff of the admission department were highly cooperative and evey single thing is was done conviently and hassle-free as well . It was a easy process altogether.

Faculty

All the faculty are highly qualified and has a good knowledge of the field which they are teaching. They provide notes and will teach you in the exactly in a way which will help you understand a specific topic or subject easily.

Placement Experience:

I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

The hustles and joys of a college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because of the Media and the lab facility, and my desire to understand the entire course in journalism and mass communication. The course that I took gave a bit more theoretical aspects rather than the practical ones. The practical ones were a bit less compared to theory ones. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to encourage more assignments and provide more internship facilities to the students. The frequency of the exams for me was okay, and it was moderate, not difficult.

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Good experience in the college and hostel too.

You have to appear for the Calcutta University BA LLB entrance exam.and you have to pass HS with passing marks. You will get the application form on the Cu ba LLB website.and the you have to fill out the form and pay 500 for registration the form released in August - September. There are reservation facilities, they provide scholarships to minorities and students of west Bengal. And for other state students, they can apply for National scholarships....Read More

Brief Overview

I went through a CUCET 2019 firstly. You'll probably get allotted to a bunch of colleges through online counselling later as per your rank in the entrance. There are 3-4 counselling rounds. After counselling, you have to report to the allotted college where they will check your documents and will declare whether you are likely to get admitted over there or not.
