Hostel of kirori ma college is awesome and the best part in the hostel is hostel mess which is known for its tasty and delicious veg and non veg food.
In kirori mal college the best part is its cultural societies which are well known in india. the kmc debsoc hindi wing is the oldest society in asia.
The teaching staff is also very dedicated in kirori mal college. the professors are highly educated and well qualified even on of the proffessor of maths department has designed the syllabus of delhi university

Dislikes

There are only 20% class which are air conditioned rest are only furnished with fans so this is the area which i dont like

i am from bsc physical science with chemistry department in which we have to study 3 corew papers of physics, chemistry and mathematics and the best part about the course curriculum is that students are also given chioce to study GE[general elective] in which they can study a subject based on their intrest out from their course

There are multiple intership opportuities in college which are at college level as well as at university level. like the PKMC intership for college students for second year and 3rd year from the principal of kirori mal college. where as VC summer intership for all the student of university . and also there are many more interships for studnets.

the placement in kirori mal colleeg is awesome. the average package of palcemennt in kirori mal college is 10 LPA and the highest CTC of 2023 is 27LPA . kirori mal college has a strong record in placement . the known recruiters of the college are Deloitte, EY Pwc, Paytm, and many more

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee structure varies from course to course like for general its varies from 6k- 20k per year the minorities and sc sts will be provided relaxation in the fee as they have to pay lesser fee thsn gen so the complete charge for a general student will become nearly 13k per year for scinence and nearly 10k for arts in kirori mal college there are various scholarships which helps students and even in college deprived students are also helped by providing them laptops and other neccesssary things for their education

Campus Life

Kirori Mal College is known for its dynamic campus life, which offers an overall positive environment in terms of Academics, cultural societies, sports, NCC, NSS, etc. ,which helps in the holistic development of a student. Kirori mal college is known for the events organised by their cultural societies, as example the NCC fest, THE NSP debate competition organised by KMC DEBSOC. so overall Kirori mal college is a full package and has many bonuses

Admission

the admission procedure is fully based on CUET UG exam once you will give exam then the university of delhi will open a CSAS portal which is a Common Seat Allocation System where you have to register and the you have to choose your desired course in preferntial order and after that you have to choose colleges you want to get admiited in. Then based on your cuet score course and college will be allocated to you there are reservation in seats for EWS, OBC,SC,ST,PWD candidates so they can also get benefit for this the level of cuet exam is modearte to hard because since its a national level entrance test and if you are targetting a named university like du then you have to score high

Faculty

the faculty of kirori mal college is highly qualified. they are very well trained as well as highly dedicated for teaching and research work. the faculty of maths and geography deaprtment is very famous in the whole university for its best work and for their teaching methodology. and even the proffesor of maths department had designed the syllabus of maths for university of delhi. teachers are also very coperative and dedicated. overall they are the best

THE ALL ROUNDER

Likes

The college has a very beautiful greeny campus.
The library is just the best thing that the college has , it is the largest in du, with computers study area all books and magazines newspaper and other necessities.
The students and teachers are very kind helpful ambitious and intelligent , you will learn a lot here.

Dislikes

The administration sometimes works too slowly regarding dew things.
The canteen is very big and food is also nice but in rain water gets concentrated there.

Placement Experience:

it is said that the placements of this college are good and average being 10LPA and 17 LPA the highest. Many companies come for the placement drive every year and many of seniors have got placement in their third year.

College and my 1st year

Likes

All girls college not male allowed in there without permission so everything feels right and safe
Conducts annual fests to change the vibe
Gotta know different types of people from different places

Dislikes

Student often get used to bad habits like smoking and drinking
To many protests everyone is doing protest even for the smallest inconvenience
Some teachers doesn't complete the syllabus they left it and students have to study on their own

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially I wanted to choose physics honours with somehow I felt physics will get me to hard as per by 12 so I choose chemistry honours over physics honours and as if I am doing bsc so yeah it is giving me all the Chemistry by and I feeling alrighting am a learning will help me for job one day the classroom here are very small and very uncomfortable to set and study only thing for teaching I want to change for my department is the classrooms and examination schedule date sheet is also very bad for Delhi University like they change the date sheet 4 to 5 times within a month and till the one is not confirmed so yeah that's things

Dream college or not ?

Likes

Greenery of college campus and surrounding areas
Close metro access and other basic amenities
Diverse crowd which allows good exposure overall

Dislikes

Wifi Network is slow and not available at all places in campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

venky is one of the best college in south campus

Likes

ratio of girls to boys is almost equal and students are well behaved
quality of social interaction is good students are cooperative
college societies are helpful for students and provide good guiding

Dislikes

our campus have 30+ dogs which is sometimes harmful for students
there is a language barrier between students and teachers
EVs faculty is very strict and they are not cooperative

The life at SVC

Likes

The fees is quite affordable, giving you a lot of flexibility for other academic programs/ commitments
The college has a great reputation and brand value
The exposure that the college provides in real life

Dislikes

The infrastructure is old and outdated, has a lot of scope for improvement
The administrative work is very slow and includes too much formalities
Low focus on co curricular activities and sports

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Likes

the location, nearest metro station ie Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus is at a walking distance of 2-5 mins
the crowd, students are quite decent and friendly.
opportunities, in college itself there are so many opportunities for students to explore through college societies

Dislikes

classes are canceled sometimes without any prior notice which creates a hassle for students coming from far away.

Placement Experience:

the placements of sri venkateswara college are quite good. campus placements are offered for third and fourth year students to the best of my knowledge. the average ctc offered was of 6.43 lacs, highest of 13.4 lpa. many great companies like bain and company, bcg, ey, deloitte, pwc, goldman sachs, accenture, rsa offered placements. in total, 70+ companies came and about 115+ students were placed.

Likes

I like the atmosphere in our college. Our college promotes us to think beyond the boundaries.
We have lush green campus in vivek vihar . Our campus is surrounded by parks and we'll managed societies.
The student in our college share a very good mindset . Each student has some unique qualities or the other .

Dislikes

The faculty is not very good here . The teachers don't listen to problems faced by the students .
Our college's online presence is very disturbed. Our college website lags a lot and there are always issues with attendence.
The authorities are not very well managed .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

The Honest Opinion about Hansraj College

Likes

The College provides great Exposure to everyone.
The Crowd and Societies of the College are always active and energetic.

Dislikes

The whole structure of Admin office is underdeveloped, which utilizes a lot of our precious time.
Many of the College events are ill-organised.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
