Course Curriculum Overview
all the curriculum realted to computer science and engineering are up to date my only suggestion would be to add the practical courses of currurently leading technologies in to the curriculum so that before appearing for interview student will be well trained regarding that tehnologies.
Internships Opportunities
infosys often brings internship opportunities with different classes of stipend including 5k, and 20k . Along with this IBM and TCS also offer internships in the final year of degree. every student has to prepare their one individual internship project in the duration of their internship. it may be attended in offline and online mode.
Placement Experience
from the 7th semester students are eligible for appearing in campus placement. some well-known companies that visit our college every year are Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Wipro, Capgemini, etc of an average package of 4 to 5 lakhs. every year around 50 to 60 students get placed on campus placement.I would like to appear for the placements and catch up with a good job in any renowned IT company.
Fees and Financial Aid
the fee structure depends on the cast one belong . as a obc candidate I get 50 percentage of scholarship on my fees which scholarship department made us available through MAHADBT. Along with this the alumni association of our college provides financial assistance to the students with low financial background for purchasing their accessories and stationaries. there is a scheme call Earn and learn which provides students to earn money by doing small tasks within the college premises which enhances their learnings. i think that it is government college ,so the fees should be negligible as compared to other private college because talented students with low financial background can be benefited from it.
Campus Life
two types of events are conducted by our institute every year including prajwalan ,the tech fest and zenith ,the non tech fest .prajwalan includes differents types of technical competition including robo race ,hackathon, paper and project competition and many more .also prajwalan comprises of non-tech games like valorant , robo soccer ,box cricket ,etc.zenith is the cultural fest that includes different competitions like dance ,drama and music among different departments . we have different clubs for these activities under the gymkhana council.all are conducted in the month of februaray-march.each student can access 2 books from their id card for duration of 15 days.classroom contains digital board and white board as well with a projector.all sports are encouraged and every sports has specific place to play within campus.
Admission
the admission process was so smooth ,also the staff was polite and understanding . As I am a direct second year student ,there were no entrance exam for us ,we were directly admitted through the percentage we got in diploma . the cutoff for obc students was 92 percentage and as I got more than this in my diploma I get admission easily. All the details of application form ,fees and important dates were available on college website. there were total 12 seats for DSY students divided according to the categories. the think that I don't like in the admission process is that not all tasks were done in one same building for every different work we were sent to administrative building .
Faculty
all the faculties are well educated and well trained. and most of them have completed their phds. anytime we can approach them to seek help and in emergency we can call them too. completes whole syllabus before time .
