Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course which is taught in our college is more over same as that of the colleges which are of the level of jss noida. If you think so that you get a course which makes you fully industry ready and industry equipped then guys you are wrong. Moreover it is the same story of most of the college courses are out dated which needs to be changed

Internships Opportunities

3.5

JSS NOIDA has tie ups with GDSC i.e GOOGLE DEVELOPER STUDENT CLUB which is an official club of GOOFLE and it also has a tie up with MMIL i.e MICROSOFT MOBILE INNOVATION LAB which is official society to the MICROSOFT and last but not the least it is tied with IEEE i.e INTERNATIONAL ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERS which has its base head quaters in the NYC, USA so you can see that students of JSS hacve sufficiant oppertunities to get placed or interned at the big show companies.

Placement Experience

2

To be honest placements are not good for any of the college you talk about so it is better that we talk about the ROI . So if we talk about the ROI the it is good if you want to know the avg package the it lies between 5-6 lpa . most of the students focus on further studies and outside campus placements.qerihakbf ihypefadskb pihvasbiyph dafsvbviy ehavbei hfough uobjn[a' ireyqphghve uohoijfejdsm njodfsbnjkevnje adfsnoi vfozndfsaolds hyifutghue cfsahuoacjsh[re0qucv h[ue 80ipefds kefpikev fiedkfdca hduoljdfcd

Fees and Financial Aid

The main reason behind me joining the jss noida was the fees structure , To be very very honest the facilities you get at such fees is appreciable the course fees would be aprox Rs. 1,37,000 and if you would like to opt for the hostel then the college provides you with the option ac hostel(I.S.H) and non ac hostel (only for boys) girl have just 1 hostel i personally recommend boys to opt for non ac hostels they are more fun!

Campus Life

5

The campus life is something that diffrentiates jss from other colleges like AKG or KIET as oyur college is far more lineant tht AKG or KIET . we are allowed to go outside at late night also and clubs are also good here tech socities and cultural socities both are nice but as you know the real craze is about the cultural socitiy (VERVE). I would like to add on the advantage JSS has is its locationb Sector 62 is said to be the best area of noida...the metro station is just 1-1.5 km from the campus which gives it a upper hand over other colleges

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels are desent as compared to the price point of view JSS has total of 3 hostels 1 girls hostel hwich has ac as well as non ac rooms (GH) and 2 boys hostel 1) non ac hostel (BH) and 2) ac hostel (ISH) i live in the BH i=and i would recommend you to live in the bh only as it is more fun . Despite of any hostel you choose you get a 3 seater romm i.e you have to share your room with 2 more folks . in ish you get a attached washroom but in bh you get a common washroom which is not of good condition but you will get habitual to it very easily. Now talking about the mess.....i just have 2 words TOO BAD. not at all appropriete the food is really really bad not joking....i am a type of person who can literally eat any food but even i am not able to eat food thats just the minus point of the hostels of jss otherwise its really fun place to live in

Admission

I went through UPTU councelling after giving my JEE exams my rank was 98250 i got the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY brach in jss noida in 2nd round of the councilling and i locked my choice. councilling processs was moreover smooth but it was delayed a lot which caused a lot of problems. Also the registration process in the college was a big Hassle and Passle the college was not at all able to handle the crowd of this big number! which created a big nuisence at the time of registration

Faculty

4.5

the faculties are well qualified. Sience most of the prof. are from southern region so they are well aware about the course and teaching techniques. You might find some prof. a little strict but trust me it is for your own good. at the end the profs are of great help at the time of end sems specially there notes and extra classes.

Other Applied Colleges

BITS Pilani (Pilani Campus) | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Mechanical Engineering)

very high fees

Vellore Institute of Technology - [VIT University] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

high fees and less ROI and very far from my home

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jims is a ipu college, so yeah curriculum depends entirely on ipu University. First year is similar for all btech courses. Or is easy to earn marks in lab and soft skill subjects but maths or physics is hard. Your 12th basics should be very good, else these two subjects will affect your overall SGPA badly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is good of btech but there there is only thing I don't like is that in btech course the subjects in first year are not related to career of students because there is physics, chemistry other irrelevant subjects present in first year but in second year the course become interesting and relevant. Curriculum is good and prepare well for real world applications. The exams comes frequently every month there is a class test but class tests are moderate on the basis of there difficulty level.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Honestly speaking I don't like the curriculum of my college. Everything is same which people studied 20 years ago . Only few things has been changed and I don't understand why we need to study about things which don't have any existence in reality. They should focus on current tech and provide more learning opportunities in AI.

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
