Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good and if we follow it in the right way, it is quite easy. The exam dates are in a way having enough study leaves, so it is easy for us to be prepared for it. Basically, the course is divided into even and odd semesters. But now, it seems like everything is the same. Even if it is an even or odd sems, the no of working days is less. We dont have much time for studying or for being well prepared. It is a major fault

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees depends on who all are having scholarship or not. The one who is having scholorship, can give less amount than the fees given for management quota admission. Scholarship is based on the marks we scored for maths during the 12th boards. And as you can check the college is good enough for the placements

Campus Life

The campus life is quite good. That's all. There is nothing much interested things happening here. Many of them came here, expecting a campus life as seen in movies. The campus life is somewhat disappointing in some ways. There are many clubs which are very much active here.

Admission

The eligibility for the course is either we have to appear for Keam or JEE. The application forms and the fee structures are available on their websites. The admission process was very simple. They did it in a very systematic order. The reservation benefits are given properly to the eligible students.

Faculty

The faculty members are very much focused on their work and they give us precised notes on every subject. It helps us to easily study for our exams. But some teachers are very partual. It kinda depends on the department also.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.
