Course Curriculum Overview
I am currently pursuing Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Our's is a new and rising subject which is getting advancements day by day. The in the curriculum we get deep into AI in the 3rd year and we get to learn about vast and diverse topics .Some semesters tend to be small and tight therfore sometimes it can get hectic for the students.
Internships Opportunities
Our college also provides many internship oppurtunities. Many students gets that too. There are many seniors that i personally know who have already got and done many internships. Many seniors of my own deartment have gotten into internships provied by IBM and i personally think that it is a good oppurtunity and experience to do internships.
Placement Experience
Our college is provinding many placements oppurtunities for its students. Many companies come to our college every year for conducting the placement drive.Our college also provide classes prior to placement interviews making the students prepared for the same.
Fees and Financial Aid
I was paying 60000 per sem for the 1st 2 semesters.But then i got higher sgpa for the 2nd semester and i became eligible for scholarship and therefore got reduction in fees and it got reduced to 42000.My college in providing schloarship and fees reduction to students who are working hard and studying well.The fees we are paying includes all the fees like tution fees,exam fees,etc.Among my batchmates there are many who have this scholarship and got the fee reduction and many have entered through merit seats.
Campus Life
There are many clubs and societies in our college that help us develope multiple skills.IEEE, IEDC, GDC ,Media club, NSS, dance club, music club,Rotrat club, CIC and many more. Being members in these clubs can help us get many connections and bulid our skill sets.
Admission
I didnt apply to any other colleges my only preference was this college. And almost all the students here chose this college considering the placements and other oppurtunities that we get here. The criteria for entering this college as all other engineering colleges is through KEAM and considering the grades of 12th standard
Faculty
There are enough faculty in our college. And all the faculty is maintaing a good student-teacher relationship. There are many faculties that i liked but our assistant HOD , she is truly inspiring and i like her a lot. All the teachers have their own teaching strategies making them unique. Every faculty is approachable and connected to the students
Night Life
There are not many hangout spots in our college but the spots that are there are true vibes. Our basketball court in one among them i go there most of the times with my friends. There are 3 cafes and 1 canteen in our college and the food and drinks there are of good quality too. There is also a gym for the students that is set up in the underground parking area. IT is very convinient for the students to make use of them. The nightlife in our college can be enjoyed during the time of techfests and hackathons, it is really a good experience.
