The college is very nice in case of helping students with every possible case and scenario. The campus life of the college is very lively and warm overall
Infrastructure is very good and nice. The learning facilities is very top notch.

Dislikes

In lunch break you have to go to hostel to take lunch which might b so frustrating in summer.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very great and is designed by the Mumbai University. The curriculum has real-world applications about the problems we face day to day. With a little more extra effort the curriculum is a great way for learning. The curriculum could be more practical than theoretical. Exams are counted once as the final sems and there total of 2 internal exams with the second internal having orals and practicals.

Internships Opportunities

There are many opportunities for internships. The college has a training and placement cell where all the information about the internships is given and the college has a given many internships with a base stipend of 10K. The internship roles are about Web Development, full stack development and many more

Placement Experience

The students become eligible for the placement after the sem 6. This year the highest package of the college was 12.5 lacs per annum. The college has 80% placement. I will also be looking for a job after completing my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is as of the government colleges. The complete cost of education for a general student is 1.28 lacs. The mahadbt scholarships, along with the EBC scholarship. The college also gives an instalment fee payment method.

Campus Life

The college has one big tech feast Zephyr. The college also has many cultural and departmental-level fests. The college has a very active and warm campus life overall. The college has its own Research and Development club along with the English Club and also GDSC and GEEKSFORGEEKS Club and many more.

Admission

The eligibility for the course is after either taking the mht-cet exam that is a state common entrance exam or the JEE exam. The college has a reservation quota for ST/SC, OBC and other backward classes. There is an end sem with 2 internals in one semester.

Faculty

The maximum faculty of the college is a Doctorate degree holder in the college. Moreover, the faculty is always on the way to create new learning experiences for the students. The faculty is very nice and is very soft spoken always in case of students and helps every student to deal there problems with there guidance. The teachers are very interactive and the students can approach them very easily.

One of the best college in Mumbai

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.
